A More Subtle Fragrance: Warm and Calming
This fragrance is one that’s more difficult to describe. But “Warm White” is a very apt name: the fragrance definitely evokes notions of cream, vanilla, almond, fabric, and blonde with some side incense notes of musk and cedar, producing a sense of warmth and calm. It’s a very layered fragrance, and I picked up different notes the longer I kept it under my candle warmer.The box itself provides more details on the fragrance, which may help. Fragrance notes include, “Cashmere, steamed milk, toasted rice, sheer amber, heliotrope, white musk, blonde woods, sweet almond, [and] vanilla bean.” The fragrance is further described on the box as: “Warm White envelops you in a luminous cloud of cashmere and steamed milk, creating a sense of cozy luxury. Notes of toasted rice, vanilla bean and white musk leave a lingering impression of a second skin – cloud-soft and sweet as cream. Warm White is more than a fragrance – it’s an invitation to glow.” The Amazon product page also mentions notes of balsam, cedar, and frangipani.(In case you’re not familiar, heliotrope is a flowering annual common in gardens. It has a subtle, sweet fragrance with nutty and vanilla undertones. Frangipani is more commonly known as plumeria. It is a tropical tree with fragrant flowers that are often used in making leis in Hawaii. The scent is sweet and tropical.)As you can see, this candle truly is a work of art in terms of all the layered fragrance notes. I would describe this fragrance on par with an expensive perfume, as opposed to a common air freshener or single-fragrance candle. For me, the overall fragrance is warm, calming, and inviting. It is not an in-your-face fragrance, but one that gently fills the background of your space. It is also not overpowering but more subtle. I left my candle warmer on for several hours and never was my downstairs saturated with the fragrance (as is often the case with other candles). It’s why I kept picking up different notes as I moved about and as the candle continued to warm: this fragrance evolves. Because it is more subtle, it would work very well in smaller and more intimate settings as well.The candle comes beautifully packaged in a faux-reptilian-skin magnetic box and includes a nice small box of wooden matches (see photo). The milky white, hexagonal glass jar is also unique. This candle would make a very nice gift – one you can send to your recipient directly from Amazon. Just one tip: let your recipient know the candle includes a small box of matches. They are secured at the bottom of the box underneath the candle. Unless you specifically look down into the box after lifting the candle out, you might not even realize those matches are there.

Clean smell
This came in a gorgeous box but that box was ripped and the top of the candle had a plastic part that was cracked (just a thing to protect it). But if it came not damaged I think this would make a perfect gift for anyone. I love that it came with a matching white pack of matches too! It smells very clean with a hint of floral. I think the price is way too high for this.
