I bought this lotion mainly because my hands get so dry in the winter. The scent is fresh and not overpowering. The consistency is too thin for me and doesnât last long on my skin. I have to reapply several times. I do appreciate that this brand is EWG verified.

Very moisturizing
Admittedly I often buy lotion because I like the packaging – particularly when the bottle will be sitting out where guests can see it. I purchased this bottle of Avalon Organics Lemon Body Lotion because the green tinted bottle and yellow graphics match my earth toned kitchen. But thankfully the lotion itself smells lovely and does a great job of moisturizing dry skin. I usually apply a small pump of this to my hands just as I’m heading out the door or after I clean the kitchen. My hands always feel so soft afterwards and the effects last for a very long time. Even my husband loves this stuff. The scent is lightly citrusy – not really my favorite but it’s not off-putting. A little pricey when purchased online, but it’s hard to find in stores in my area, so I deal. Overall a satisfactory purchase.

Nice lotion!
Bought this because I wanted a lemony smelling lotion that had good moisturizing properties without leaving me with that lotiony greasy feeling, where you have to wipe off or wash your hands. This stuff soaks in. I guess the alcohol in it helps it to evaporate. It definitely smells like Lemon Verbena. I was originally looking for a Lemon scent, not Lemon Verbena. But this smelled nice so I kept it. It’s a nice get by until I can find that Lemon lotion.
