How Did We Get Our Start?
Back in the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte worked as a carpenter. He worked hard, and so did his hands. They would often split and crack in the frigid New England winters. One night, seeking a soothing solution, he mixed up some beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm. It helped his hands so much, he decided to share it with everyone he knew – and the rest, as they say, is Badger history.

The best aloe in a tube!
this is my favorite brand of aloe, if you donât have a plant on hand. itâs perfect for sunburn, rash minor irritation, keeps especially well. I store it in the fridge and itâs cooling and even more soothing that way. Not a lot of additives, and thank goodness itâs fragrance free!

Not much of a scent, very moisturizing and refreshing but leaves a dry, tight layer on the skin. I use it with my nuface device and was hoping to be able to leave it on as a moisturizer when finished with the treatment. Unfortunately i feel the need to rinse it off

Excellent summer face moisturizer
I have acne and live in the southeast US. I use this as a night face moisturizer in the hot, humid summer, as well as a base to make my own moisturizer with mineral sunscreen powder and tea tree oil for day, and mixed with a heavier winter moisturizer for spring and fall transition weather. Works well on hair too!

Clean Ingredients and really cools you down!
This is a must have for any beach vacation! It is made of clean ingredients so you know it is good for your skin. After a long day in the sun this is the perfect thing to put on once you come back. It really cools you down and helps if you have any sunburn! We will be buying more once we finish this!

I’ve tried many brands of Aloe Vera gel over the years – some truly awful and extremely drying after a short time. Most of them have loads of preservatives and chemicals bulking them out which dilutes and causes the drying effect. This is the first one that not only feels moisturising but hasn’t felt drying. It calms my skin as it should and does what it says on the tin (tube). A bit more pricey for the quantity you get, but I feel I would rather pay a bit more (and use it perhaps more frugally – a little goes a long way) then pay for those cheaper, poor quality alternatives just to save money. I will order again when this one runs out. I just pray they don’t change the formula as I will have to go on the hunt for another brand again.
