Overall Meh Humidifier
It’s a nice concept but very limiting humidifier that sacrifices certain functionality features for a more aesthetically pleasing design. It takes two concepts and merges them together, but is unable to do either one of them well. It’s up to you to decide if the trade off is really worth it, but in my opinion any standard humidifier would do a better job humidifying the room than this and most other white noise humidifier designs creates better and more consistent rain noise than this.Performance – Pretty lackluster. In terms of humidifying it does a better job than most other raining humidifiers, except that it doesn’t rain that much. One good thing is that the steam is actually coming out from the top of the humidifier into the air, not pointed down into the base and going back into the water like other designs I see.Rain function – The humidifier relies on condensation at the top part to create rain drops. This means the rain is very inconsistent compared to other systems that pumps the water into the system, with half of the time unable to create any rain at all. Other times it’s just dripping out of one or two holes and doesn’t create a very good raining sensation. This also means there isn’t a way to adjust or turn off the rain feature.Light function – Light function works very well, and the remote is one of the upsides to this product. Easy to change the lighting with a variety of choices, as well as turning on and off the product using the included remote with high reactivity.Essential Oils – Works like any other humidifier, isn’t too special. It’s nice that they’re included with the product, and how you like the scent is up to you.Small size – Smaller than most other rain cloud humidifiers you might see. It’s nice and lightweight to save space, and could be a potentially good travel item.

Worth it to try
This is definitely an upgrade from the last rain cloud lamp I tried. It came with 4 essential oils while I did order another and they smell great. But more importantly the sound of this lamp is calming with not too much volume to it. The 3 color changing modes with the last no light mode is pretty nice as well while they fit as a night light for 2-8 hours. At some point poking the holes for water flow is needed. But overall it’s a pretty nice decoration.
