I’ve been using Brickell Men’s Daily Defense SPF20 Face Moisturizer for well over a week now, and I am genuinely impressed! As someone with sensitive skin, I’m always cautious about trying new products, but this one has exceeded my expectations. This has been my experience will all Brickell products and I think Iâm now officially loyal.What I Love About It:First off, this face moisturizer absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue. It’s lightweight and doesn’t clog my pores, which is a huge plus. I have combination skin, and it keeps my face hydrated without making it feel oily, even during the day. Plus, Iâve noticed my skin feels firmer and looks healthier, which is a great bonus. (EVEN GOTTEN COMPLIMENTS!!)The SPF Protection:As someone whoâs always on the go, I love that it has SPF 20 protection. I live in New York and love to be out and actually walking. The natural zinc oxide works wonderfully without leaving that annoying white cast that many sunscreens do. Great Daily Moisturizer That Holds Up Outdoors
The Brickell Daily Defense SPF 20 Face Moisturizer has been a solid addition to my routine, especially as Iâve been spending more time outdoors. With the weather getting nicer, I wanted a lightweight daily moisturizer that provides sun protection without feeling greasy or heavy. This product does exactly that.It absorbs quickly, doesnât leave a residue like some SPF moisturizers, and feels comfortable on the skin. Iâve even taken it out on runs, and it holds up wellâno excessive sweating it off or feeling like my skin is suffocating under a thick layer of product. I have oily skin, and a big worry was about clogging my pores. It offers protection and I’ve not had any adverse issues with that, so I appreciate that itâs oil-free.I’m surprised how far this should go given the size of the product (3.4 oz is a surprising amount with how much you use). It’s mostly odorless, and seems to stack well with other Brickell products I use. Admittedly, I went with this product for the sun-care more than the moisturizing aspect of it. I’ve not felt any issues with sunburns being outside, but only time will tell if it helps avoid premature aging. In my book, 20SPF is better than the 15 most have, and the moisturizing is a nice plus. Iâll continue using it throughout the summer and update my review if I need to.

Moisturizers and moreâ¦
The item arrived quickly and well packaged.Since the weather is getting nicer, I needed to get a daily face moisturizer that also had some SPF protection. I have tried and used other Brickell products so I thought I would try this. The lotion is nice and does not leave any âwhiteâ residual like some sun screen/moisturizers. It is actually a good size so this will last quite a while. It has no scent. I think it is a nice purchase overall.I currently have and currently use Brickellâs eye moisturizer, anti-aging revitalizing cream, the face cleaning scrub (awesome scent) and their retinol face moisturizer. These are all excellent products. They make so many products that it is almost overwhelming so I would recommend trying their sampler that has 16 different products so you can see the diversity, but they even have more than this! That is how I found out which products I really liked and then I ordered what I liked. I did like more, but you canât have too many of these products. Can you? You canât go wrong with their products. See what is good for you and try their trial. I will definitely order more.

Great product, making the switch
A few years ago my dermatologist told me that everyone who is outside during the day for any amount of time should use face moisturizer with SPF to prevent not just skin cancer but also wrinkles, sun spots and other sun damage that makes us age prematurely. I began using a product from Elta which I’ve really liked but recently tried this Face Moisturizer from Brickell and absolutely love it and am making the switch. In addition to a slightly lower price and 11% more product, I love how it makes my skin look and it is transparent so no white hue.I haven’t been able to figure out if its reef safe and that’s important to me when I go to the ocean but since I’m nowhere near an ocean in my day to day, this is the perfect moisturizer to keep my skin looking good and prevent harm from the suns rays while I’m outdoors.

I purchased this product for the first time and while I have not formed a judgement yet on the actual moisturiser (though it seems ok though It has a slightly chemical scent) what would probably prevent me from purchasing this again is the poor design of the bottle it comes in. Itâs pretty expensive as the bottle is quite small and so you only need to apply a small amount. However, due to the rigidity of the bottle you have to squeeze quite hard or shake it quite stridently to get anything out. Then of course half the contents come gushing out and so you spend the next 10 minutes trying to get the excess back in the bottle. Otherwise it has cost you $25 to moisturise your face! Poor design of the packaging it should be a proper squeeze tube that you can control the flow better.
