Customers say
Customers find the design of the blank book nice and cute. They find it a good starter kit for beginners, with nice color options and sturdiness. However, some have reported issues with pages coming loose or bleeding through. The binding seems weak or coming apart easily. There are mixed opinions on the paper thickness.

Canât wait to use
I love my journal kit. I was not expecting it to be so cute. I was really excited about receiving it the next day. I opened it up and I was like oh how cute. The journal book has a nice leather cover and sturdy strap, the 2 black ink pens popped out. The colorful pen set is just wonderful, the cute decoration tape to outline your calendar that you made on the dotted paper from the cute stencil set that comes with it. Then you can decorate all your entries with the cute stickers set that is Included.

came with so much stuff
so many things to start journaling with this kit, great price and good quality notebook/accessories. the markers are very thin tip tho so if you want to color things maybe buy other markers seperately

Great for Beginners like me
Other than a little bit of ghosting, this journal is really great. And to be frank, I donât even mind the ghosting because seeing as this is only my second journal, my first one flopped with half the pages ripped out and or taped up, Iâm really enjoying the journal as is. I love the color,I like the pens, some of them are a little light, but with a few extra layers, youâre able to see the light colors very well, I like the washy tape it makes writing out my weekly pages a lot easier. The stencils are a little big for the page, so I pick and choose what I want from the stencil and line it up where I want it on the page For beginner this is a really great journal!

It’s a good start but here’s what you should know.
So, this year was my first real shot at bullet journaling. I didn’t really want to spring for a lot of nice supplies since I wasn’t sure if I would like it or not. Enter this kit. I thought it seemed decent value and a good set of items for what the price was listed at the time (20$ on a sale true price was listed at 28.99). So I pulled the trigger and bought it.I have done an entire yearly spread and the start of one month with these supplies, the only things I used to write with that you don’t see in the photos are the markers which are just crayola. All else was done with the pens from this kit.The good. The stencils are great, they’re fine quality, the stickers are cutsie and there are a lot of them to choose from. The pens do cover a wide variety of colors. The journal its self has a nice hard cover to it and the two bookmarks for easy flipping between and saving the place of things you use often. The meh. The journal, while having a nice hard cover, seems to have weak binding, and some of my pages came with the threads in the seams already a bit loose in spots. There are some pages that are bound tighter than others so some of the pages are not able to be opened all the way to lay flat. The stencils while fine quality don’t have a lot of decorative stencils, it’s mostly just lines and grids which in a bojo you can make easily yourself with a straight edge and you aren’t confined to the length of the stencil. The paper and pocket envelopes are pretty unremarkable, there’s only a couple of colors and it’s just regular paper, nothing spectacular or special. The bad. These pens are TERRRIBLE. For one, they are sharp. For two, the ink isn’t anywhere near consistent in coming OUT of the pen so you often have to go over a line multiple times over to actually make one. These two things together are disastrous for the paper. I have CUT the paper clean through in a couple of spots because the thin paper combined with the multiple passes and sharp pens means the paper simply gets severed along the line you make. The pens also HATE writing over pencil marks. Being gel pens they should have no issue doing that but the ink just doesn’t want to budge when you try to go over pencil lines, even very lightly made ones. Very problematic if you’re sketching a spread first before finalizing it. The binding, while it has not failed on me yet, scares me. With the severe weak spots in places I fully predict by the end of the year I’ll have pages falling out. I was hoping other people whose reviews reflected this as an issue were just a few of them but it seems to be a consistent issue with this journal. This all said, if you’re looking for a cheap journal to possibly make mistakes in if you’re just learning, it’s fine for that, especially if you’re not looking to keep archives. However, GET DIFFERENT PENS, and there are ONLY pens, I didn’t read well enough at first and went off the picture thinking they were markers. There are no markers in this set at all, that isn’t the fault of the seller just a mistake on my part and something I felt would be good to clarify if you’re looking for a starter kit with markers included. I am NOT heavy handed when I write nor am I hard on pens or paper and I still broke through pages with these pens and I think that’s a combo of the pens and the quality of the paper thickness. If you’re ordering it to get a pack of stencils and stickers along with a basic journal to practice and mess around with, then this does the job. If you’re trying to make something you want to hang on to and keep avoid this set. There are several budget bojo options such as Leuchtturm that are in a similar price point. Then I’d recommend some decent pens for basic black spring for a Pilot Parallel. For the colors even pilots basic gel will do but they also have the FriXion series. Otherwise just get some basic brush/fine dual tip water based markers, you don’t need to jump to Tombow right off the bat. IVSUN has a set that is decent quality near as I can tell so far from using them (recent purchase) and thrifty. They’ll do the job much better than gel pens in a bullet journal. So to end this off, if you’re looking for a journal to mess with as a beginning bullet journal user or a junk journaler and you’re okay with the idea that it may fall apart on you then it’s not a horrid value. If you’re looking for something you want to learn with AND keep long term, this ain’t it. There are better options in a similar budget elsewhere, and hopefully I’ve given you a few ideas for alternatives as I wish I knew of some when I thought about getting this.Happy Journaling!

Great gift for a teen
My first package was dented and pens broken. I gave it another try after a easy return and Iâm glad I did. The teen I purchased it for was delighted with it. A great start for a life long habit of journaling.

Everything in this is great for those who love making journals. The stencils are amazing and no issues with them, the book is a lovely style and the pens are nice and uniform. The problem is one of the sets of stickers (I think it’s road trip) has a letter missing so it reads road tip or something.
