Awesome honey scent
The Candle by the Hour 70-Hour Beehive Candle is a beautiful and eco-friendly option with a delightful honey scent that fills the room instantly! I absolutely love it! However, one downside is that it can be quite tricky to thread the wax through the clip. While this feature is innovative for safety, it requires not just patience and precision but also care, as the wax can sometimes break during the process. Despite this, its charming design and incredible scent make it a lovely addition to any space.

SAVE THE BEES
Bees give us so much! Wax for candleing and cleaning the air. Honey for sweetening and overall health as well as pollination for our earth so we can be able to go on living. I just LOVE my beeswax candle. I love the sweet smell of honey that you smell when you open your candle. I will continue to purchase these candles for my home.

Burn time
Took one star off for burn time. Burns fast. No way this is gonna last 72 hours. Very cute and great subtle smell. Does neutralize odors.

Worth the price
Worth the price! Just to be clear, it does smell like honey, when you put your nose to the candle. When You burn it, it does not give off the honey aroma. It DOES, however, take away smells. It neutralizes the air. I had a room that had a closed up smell to It. Bc I never go into the room, and it stays closed up. I put the candle in there and let it burn for 20 minutes, went back and still to this day, The smell is gone. Itâs a normal size bedroom. Nothing small. This candle does come with some bees, they are not put together and are cheaply made. You can buy some push pins and put them on the candle as a replacement if you wanted to. Best thing is, you donât have to buy the whole candle again once itâs all burnt. You can buy just the replacement for it.

Cute Concept, Flawed Execution.
This is a very cute idea, but it’s tough to actually use. I will probably keep it for the look but not burn it that much. The candle arrives coiled and not inside the scissor-cup, and it was a little tough for me to shape it up while maintaining the coil. Maybe it’s the cold air and low humidity this time of year, but I couldn’t initially get the wax to bend and I couldn’t get my hand around it enough to warm it up. This let up a bit after the candle was indoors for a day, and I put it under a lamp for a few minutes to help soften it, but it’s still difficult to pull it up into the cup and I have to re-shape the coil every time. For a candle that burns for 30-50 minutes maximum, it’s a lot of trouble. The bees are plastic, they come unassembled, and they kind of detract from the overall look of the item, especially close up. They attach by forcing an integrated, small plastic rod through the coils, but as the candle flexes, or if you rotate the coil to burn a new length, they tend to fall off and scatter everywhere. I had kind of thought they would be 1) metal and 2) fixed to the cone that creates the bee-hive shape. You could stick anything with a small rod through or into the coils (like something on a pin for instance), so a crafty person could remedy this. Finally, -1 star for selling a product labeled as “eco-friendly” that’s packed in styrofoam and wrapped in plastic. Not only does it contradict the point of purchasing a bees-wax candle over a petroleum-based candle, but it also makes the product look cheap. Lucky for me my community recycles Styrofoam a few times a year. All in all, it’s a very cute idea but not really functional as a candle, and a little expensive for what you get.

Excellent product. I bought it for my wife at Christmas and she and I both love it. If youâre a candle person this is as good as it gets. Itâs been used every night (Itâs April now) and itâs still not even 1/5 of the way down yet, easily 70 hours. The safety/timer element of it is awesome too.

My father in law loves candles, just as much as I. Heâs an outdoorsy kinda guy and so the beehive touch was cute. Gifted to him and it actually lasted about 70 hours as indicated. Great gift, great price.

I was so sad as this was expensive and looks nothing like the picture it was unwound at the top and had plastic brown badly made bees that you had to try to put the wings on as you pushed into the rings of wax I managed to put two on and they looked like ants not bees I wouldnât buy again .
