Small enough for small space/shelf
Looks like the photo. The smaller size enabled me to put my Advent wreath on a small shelf on my sacred space table. Previously, my Advent wreath was too large. Standard tall candles fit well and snug. Nice decorative scene is nice. I’d recommend this Advent “wreath,” particularly if space is an issue. Check the dimensions in the description against your need so you’re not disappointed.

Beautiful artwork, sturdy, doesn’t come with candles though
Beautiful advent wreath! I wanted an Advent wreath that had a manger scene in it, and this worked perfectly! This even had the three wise men and some Shepherds. It is on the smaller side, but I think that is nice for putting in the middle of a table, or you could also put it in a small area like on a bookshelf. We did both, it would be on our bookshelf in the entryway when we were not using it, and then on the nights we would use it we would put it on the middle of our table.Wish it came with the candles though.

Nice centerpiece for our table during the Advent season
I recently added this luxury tabletop Advent candle holder to my holiday decor, and it is a nice addition to our Christmas decorations. Beautiful but might be missing something
as other people have said in the reviews, this is a beautiful piece and I love the detailed artwork. Every piece looks clear and expressive. It is small though.My only other complaint is that I cannot add the fifth white candle to this event piece. There are four candleholders, and there is no option out of fifth. I am going to fix that little problem by just taking out one of the candles and inserting the white candle on the last day of advent. But another option could be to just use a different candle holder for the one white candle. I am not sure if it is common to only have four candleholders on an advent calendar. Iâve never seen this before.

Gorgeous and Beyond Expectations!
Arrived very well packaged in a box that I will keep when stored away. This Advent candle holder is gorgeous and beyond expectations!!!!! The angle stands about 6.5 inches and the tallest wise man stands about 7 inches. The width is about 12 inches and the depth is about 7 inches. The base for the pillar candle stands about an inch above the platform and is about 3 inches in diameter. Tapered candles I used were from Hobby Lobby (and were virtually dripless when the wicks were kept trimmed), the ones pictured are 0.8in x 10in and fit perfectly snug – they remained straight and firm the entire month. The craftsmanship of this candle holder is exquisite!!! Although this looks hand carved I believe it is made of polyresin, however it is impossible to tell even upon close examination that it is actually not wood. The “carving” is so authentic that you can actually feel the “wood grain”. I’ve included pictures of the craftsmanship that most impressed me: 1. the carved detail of the holly & berries, the way that the outer most taper holders are rounded and meet the squared off platform base as a perfectly carved “nitch” (not sure how to describe it, but the effect is of an artisans carving). 2. the wood grain of the pillar candle’s platform – it looks AND FEELS as if it were a slice of wood! 3. The phenomenal hand painted details! I have rarely seen such perfect painting of a decor item. The artist must have had an extremely steady hand and a tiny, tiny brush as seen in the careful attention that was given in painting the gold ring around the taper holder (see how in order to make the gold circle the artists had to paint a little bit onto the platform? It is SO authentic! Rather than trying to fit the gold circle only on the round the holder, the artist opted to make the gold circle completely round. A much better look than trying to skimp on the perfect diameter of the gold circle). 4. The incredible painting of each detail: gold on angle coat sleeve and the scrolling pattern on her white under dress. The shading between the fingers and toes make them look real. The tri-colored belt of the tallest king is an example of how all the scrolls, floral accents, and trimmings on all the clothing is perfectly painted and accented. The painting of each face is so perfect that the faces look real, I mean really look real! 5. The “antiquing” is perfect. By antiquing I mean the process in which and item is fully painted and then a darker color (in this case a deep brown) is painted or washed over the entire item and then immediately wiped off. The effect is to have all the groves and carvings filled in to give dimension and depth – and WOW does it ever!! I really can’t say enough of how wonderful this Advent Candle Wreath is!!! Enjoy the pictures and buy this Advent Candle Wreath!!!!! p.s. the book pictured does not come with it but it is one of our favorite advent devotionals sold separately on Amazon.

Very nice and ornate Advent Wreath
We had a much larger wreath that got lost. This one is smaller but very pretty. It includes 4 candle holders for taper candles. Required some trimming as the candles I bought online were too thick. Nevertheless we made it work.

Replace old wreath with this new idea!
My old Advent wreath has seen better days. It’s covered with candle wax and the greenery has begun to look tired. I wanted something to replace it but that wouldn’t occupy so much table space. This delightful item has a very small circumference and is quite sturdy. I’m looking forward to using it next Advent.

Not for candles fire hazard
This is meant to hold candles or so it says. I used slow burning, smokeless candles. I made sure they were placed straight. Placed it in the xenter of the livingroom on an otherwise empty table. (Only this was on the table) Lit the first candle for Adevnt and a few hours later my husband smells something weird. We follow the odor the candle holder caught fire. I am guessing it’s meant for battery operated candles.The item itself looked nice and cute. Now howver one of the scenes (the nativity portion) is all blacken from top to half way through, it’s broken and dust just by moving it to a new location for pictures.Wouldn’t recommend. Bought this to replace our previous candle holder that got damaged in the move.
