✅ I USUALLY HATE FREESIA, BUT THIS CANDLE SERIOUSLY ALMOST PUT ME TO SLEEP?!
Ever since I can remember I have had this affinity and obsession with scented candles. I always have one burning at all times when I am at home. I have had all the popular and well known name brands out there, including those that cold a ridiculously expensive amount to those that can be found at the local dollar store. I’ll definitely say that you cannot judge a scented candle on it’s price, nor it’s packaging. There have been some hidden gems that are amazing, if not even better than the expensive, popular brand candles— this is definitely one of them!✅ PACKAGING + PRESENTATION: first and foremost, the packaging is a large part of the experience when it comes to decorative scented candles. the amber colored, glass jar, that this candle comes in is actually very pretty and has a really beautiful aesthetic that includes the label on the jar that appears simple but also resembles a doctors prescriptionpad/note; almost as if prescribing you some “rest, relaxation and sleep”. the overall look being very basic but is really attractive and almost a slight juxtaposition with the candle and box being very cutely designed with cartoon animals, but still simple with no unnecessary bells and whistles, but the candle and scent itself being very beautiful, smelling expensive, and like luxury.✅ CANDLE SIZE: while i do, actually prefer candles that are much larger in size and have multiple wicks, the size of this candle is actually perfect for a desk top in a small office or work and study room. it’s bigger than a small tea light but not a big as a pillar candle or jar candle. it’s just the right size of a candle that you’d prefer to take camping or leave lit in an otherwise completely dark room, at night.✅ REUSABLE CONTAINER: because the jar of the candle is quite literally a small mason jar, i have had one of these candles from the same collection, burn all the way down, and it’s extremely easy to pull the wick base from the bottom of the jar, and use hot water to clean out the remaining bits of wax. peel the label off and you’ve got a perfect little Mason jar that can. e used for literally hundreds of purposes.✅ LONG BURN TIME: i actually lit the candle one afternoon and left it continously burn until it completely burnt out, and it stayed lit for a total of 3 and a half days! that’s 24 hours a day, day and night. i didn’t mean to do this but someone was home at all times, so it was unsupervised, but the fact still remains that it burned for over half a week straight and the scent remained consistent throughout that entire time period.✅ AMAZING SCENT: im not typically a huge fan of scents that are also essential oils or scents that are fairly common and herbal. however, lately ive really been into the fragrance of fresh, airy, water-related, and earthy kind of notes. i figured this candle would be right up my alley, especially since im quite the night owl and have had bad insomnia for as long as i can remember. the description claims that it helps with sleep and calming so i figured ive tried everything else under the sun, why not a candle?at first whiff, taking the lid off, i wasn’t a huge fan. the freesia scent threw me for a loop. but i decided to light it and let it do it’s thing and in a matter of ten minutes or so, my entire room was filled with a very refreshing, slightly musky and floral fragrance. surprisingly, the fragrance once burning is very pleasant. it’s not one of those scents that you would pick out as your favorite though, but definitely one that you don’t hate, though. it really filled my whole room, and at some points almost got a little too strong? but shocking to me, twenty minutes in, i was actually yawning, feeling drowsy, and very sleepy! im not sure if it’s the freesia or the combination of all the notes, or maybe something else entirely, but this candle definitely proved its claims to be true! it is a very sleep-inducing scent!◼ OVERALL RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS ————————————————————♡》》》 IN SUMMARY: for a simple, quick, no-reason gift, or even as an additional, supplemental, last minute gift for a special occasion, this would be absolutely perfect. the presentation and aesthetic is really beautiful and cute. the claims for it assisting in relaxing you and inducing a drowsy state might sound far fetched or false, but im absolutely a believer now! the fragrance when it’s both lit and unlit are slightly different, and there are definitive and distinguished notes of both floral freesia and a touch of muskiness that blends wel with the “ocean”, in the fragrance, along with supporting fragrance notes that do not out compete the two main scents. it’s great for a soothing and relaxing kind of feeling, and could probably best be used after a hard work day, gym session, or stressful assignments while relaxing soaking in the bath. it has great burn time and has a scent that can fill a room rather quickly. this is definitely going in the list as one of my favorite candles. i very highly recommend this candle if you have issues winding down at the end of the day, befire bed. now, i just really wish the brand would create a much larger size with multiple wood wicks. ♡

The scent of spring lilacs are always welcome
Hard to imagine anybody who doesn’t love the smell of lavender. Everyone in my household does. This candle fills the need for that sweet smell of spring. I can’t say I recommend sleeping with an open flame, but it’s a wonderful candle for that relaxing evening. Honestly, I can’t say that the aroma itself is calming or the general atmosphere created by the flicker of the candle and the soft light it puts off. The aroma is a bonus for sure. Out of the box, the candle easily drops out of the white glass it’s in in the event you want to put it in something else. Not sure why you would, but it was different than some candles that are molded in the holder. The beautiful purple petals appear to be surface only and not throughout the candle. We haven’t burned it down enough to see what’s beneath. It also comes with a lid that seals in the aroma when not burning. Should keep it smelling good for as long as the candle can burn.

Fresh smelling wood wick candle
This is a Vallydom scented candle with a flat wooden wick, scented sea salt, ocean, seaweed, and freesia. I really like the wooden wick and how it crackles as it burns. It should be trimmed before use, otherwise the flame will be way too big and produce some black smoke. But once trimmed, it burned very nicely, filled the room with fragrance that was noticeable but not overpowering. It has a very fresh smell that reminds me of an “ocean breeze” scent. A bit reminiscent of a “fresh” scented cleaning product, so if you like those kinds of scents, you’ll probably like this candle. I wish it smelled slightly more natural, but overall it’s a good candle.
