great for scaly legs
Wonderful addition to nightly routine to reduce dry scaly skin. My elderly father uses it on his scaly dry legs. We noticed a positive result after 1 week! We had positive results on a variety of applications on dry skin, scaly legs, thin aged skin, winter-chapped hands, and softened cracked heals. Once applied, it didn’t leave a greasy feeling to the skin like some ointments and lotions do

This is great for dry hands. The photo with this review is my hands before using this ointment, just apply a thick layer and wait about 15 minutes for it to absorb. Also, pro tip: you do not need to apply when your hands are wet like normal hand creams.

This worked great on my body but when I put it on my face, it stung. Had to wash it off. Also kind of leaves a greasy feeling, maybe I put too much.

If you haven’t tried CeraVe, it’s well worth a try. It is not expensive, but it is extremely effective—all CeraVe products from this Healing Ointment, to the eye creme.

I have used a lot of Cerave products since first purchasing it 5 years ago. Saw this and decided to try it out too. I am very glad I did as this is now my go to moisturiser. I also use Vaseline – a very effective emollient but it is quite shiny and sticky, so I can only use it at night or if I don’t plan to go anywhere. Also Aquaphor, which I also like. Petrolatum is still the main active ingredient for all three. However, Cerave combines it with other ingredients that enhance absorption so it does not feel like it’s sitting on the skin whilst still excellent protective barrier. It is quite a lot more expensive that Vaseline. As a face moisturiser though, it is way cheaper that other night moisturisers especially considering that you only need a very small amount to cover face, neck, chest and hands. It even comes in huge tubs that will last you for ages! It has no fragrance and has added hyaluronic/ceramide benefits. An all-around win for me.

Cerave Healing Ointment lasts an impressively long time! Itâs excellent for dry skin, absorbing quickly and leaving the skin feeling soft and hydrated. I even use it on my face, and it leaves it feeling smooth and supple.

Diese Creme ist super ideal bei allen Irritationen der Haut. Bei sehr trockener Haut und ebenfalls nach dem Sonnenbad ideal. Hatte es in Indonesien täglich nach dem Sonnenbad aufgetragen, keinen Sonnebrand bekommen. Auch bei Schuppenflechte oder Neurodermitis empfehlenswert.
