The best psoriasis lotion Iâve ever found and Iâve had it for over 15 years
First of all, the price is amazing. The quality is even better. The consistency is a dream. It rubs into my skin and absorbs better than I could ever dream of. I love it so much it makes my redness go away on my plaque the scales go away and literally if I put it on at night, I wake up and my psoriasis on my knees. Looks like itâs going away like itâs halfway gone. I have to be consistent with it, which is one thing which is totally fine because I was going to be consistent with steroid cream, which I hate and that was not working for me at all and it has a lot of negative side effects but this has no negative side effects. My skin loves it. I love it. My Bank Account loves it. It doesnât have any scent, which is great because I always go for a senseless odorless cream soap, etc. because my skin is sensitive this lunch could not get any better. The only thing I want is a bigger bottle.!!!

Thick but Works
Iâve had psoriasis for 25 years and have tried it all.. the CerVe psoriasis moisturizing cream is actually pretty decent! I have small spots all over my body so the steroid cream from the dermatologist can be exhausting to put on. I use This right when I get out of the shower and while itâs thick after application it doesnât feel sticky or like itâll peel off in clumps if you keep rubbing it in. Iâve only used it a few times but Iâve noticed less redness after about half an hour after application and less scaling. It seems to moisturize and help with itching and irritation. It doesnât have a smell and honestly Iâd definitely buy again and recommend to anyone with sensitive or scaly dry skin! I also Love the packaging. The bottle is small but really a little goes a long way so it has lasted!

CeraVe Cream for Psoriasis: good for controlling flare ups + swelling, doesn’t promote healing well
Goes on as a thin layer that wicks into the skin quickly. Not much odor and doesn’t smell like chemicals much.Its pretty solid on controlling redness and swelling from psoriasis or skin irritation from hand sanitizer. Hardly does anything for healing though. I’ve had better luck with MG217 for getting my skin to heal. The skin will still flake like mad after putting this stuff on!It does start working fairly fast but takes at least a day of application to reach peak effectiveness. For an over the counter cream its not bad at all. Its no miracle worker though. Hydrocortisone is a miracle worker. The downside for hydrocortisone is that it eventually thins out your skin so you can’t use it for more than a few days at time.This stuff on the other hand seems to have no major side effects which is nice.I reapply it each time I wash my hands or use sanitizer. Very critical to apply it after using sanitizer due to the skin irritation that stuff causes!

This stuff works at controlling itch and reducing scales. Don’t use the pump though.
I get a lot of patches on my legs and arms. For medicine, I only use a topical, haven’t tried pills yet. In between applications of the topical medicine, I use this and it works very well at controlling the itchiness and also helps to remove the scales so that the medicine has a chance to actually get in your skin. Plus, I use exfoliating gloves in the shower to help remove scales. The cream loosens them up, and the gloves help remove them.SUGGESTION: Don’t use the pump that comes with it. This stuff is expensive and when the tub itself is empty, there is still quite a bit left in the pump that simply gets wasted. Instead, I unscrew the pump when I get a new tub and cover the opening with plastic and a rubber band so the cream doesn’t dry out.

Severe breakout If you have sensitive, dry skin,.or LUPUS do not useâ¦..
I have LUPUS and purchased the lotion and facial cleaner to care for, clean and moisturize my face properly. The face wash seemed gentle, washed away cleanly. The lotion is smooth and rich. After using both the Facial cleanser and cream and thinking it would benefit my sensitive psoriasis like rash on my cheeks. (I used gentle touch and was careful when rinsing, even used 100% cotton balls, instead of a washcloth. ) . It seemed to be working for several days, then there was a huge downslide. My face and ears became inflamed, and the scars deepened in color and spread out more.. my ears and face started to bleed through the skin, the barrier was destroyed!. Whatever acids are used in these products are not beneficial to me; little did I know I was wearing down my skin barrier instead of protecting it.I have switched to Cetaphil, which does not seem to irritate or burn, but Iâm now dealing with trying to heal my red, and deeply scared face and ears. This stuff is definitely not good for me. If you have LUPUS stay far away from this.

Overall Mixed……Container, Pump and Product
I have mixed thoughts about this product:Packaging: One Star: Made with a false bottom, implying there is more product than 8 oz.Pump Performance: Zero Stars: When the container gets down to about 2 oz. remaining, the pump stops working properly. I have to unscrew the lid and finger dip. I have purchased this multiple times and encounter the same issue. This should be in an inverted squeeze tube, or a better design.Product Performance: Five Stars: It works very well, doesn’t smear off, absorbs well into the skin. The scent is a tiny bit medicinal, but not offensive. It does what it claims. Be patient, use 1 to 2 times daily for a month to see good results.If the packaging and pump issues were improved, I would definitely give five stars.

This cream cost me $57. But I was frustrated with all the ways I’ve tried to help my very dry skin, so I thought I’d give this a go. First, it arrived leaking. The packaging needs to be fixed. Seeing as the cream cost $57, I lost, ah, about $18.63 worth of cream, lol. As far as the cream working. It’s not bad. It works well to moisturize. But I have to constantly have the cream on my skin, or it just dries again. And a LITTLE goes a long way. If you put too much, it’s like wearing sunscreen.
