very thorough food journaling, could use a good calorie/food chart
This journal is for the person very serious about tracking their food intake and lifestyle. If you’re thinking it will be a quick way to keep track, just use a notebook. There is a lot of info to fill in about your goals, what changes you want to make, your lifestyle, food choices, and a very small section of nutrient macros of common foods. That is an area that would need to be expanded in order to be truly helpful in figuring out what you need to eat to reach your goals. Honestly, this is like a written form of an online food tracker, but without all the helpful online resources. It’s great for someone who prefers hand writing over technology. It did not work out well for me as I found it too time consuming to fill in daily. And if it’s not something you can stick with, it’s not going to be helpful. So, for me it’s wasted. It’s truly a beautiful, nicely made journal, but it takes the right kind of person to take full advantage of it, and that’s not me.

I ordered this product to be accountable of my healthy habit journey.The journal is fantastic with lots of space to log meals, meal plan, shopping list, monthly calendar area and a small section for daily exercise. I would recommend it and I would buy it again. Great book.

The focus is heavily on body weight and size measurements and weightloss, when in reality people want to track their food for different reasons. Eg I am an athlete and I want to make sure I am fuelling my body and eating regularly, so it works for this purpose but the weightloss rhetoric is distracting and frankly and little bit insensitive eg stickers that say ‘cheat day’ and ‘I’m not hungry, I’m just bored’.

I did not expect my journal to come as it did.. it is absolutely beautiful, lovely presentation box, comes with tape measure, stickers and the lovely made rose gold journal. It really is lovely, canât wait to use it and start my journey ð¥°
