Inspiring Daily Gratitude and Faith in Our Little One
This gratitude journal is simply adorable! Our 5-year-old is just starting to learn how to write, and it has given her wonderful motivation to write every day. Every night before bed, we sit with her and help her reflect on the blessings of the day. We love instilling the habit of daily gratitude in her and nurturing her faith in this way.

Good starter journal
We got this for our 10 year old son. The outer cover of the journal is very nice – thicker and softer than I expected. I like the positive affirmations and other things reinforcing positive self-talk, as our son needs that!

Wonderful!
I havenât given this to my daughter yet, but couldnât wait to take off the plastic wrap and flip through. It is so thoughtfully designed and Iâm excited to give it to her! The cover is a bright sunny yellow, and the pages inside are like-wise fun, attractive, kid-oriented colors. Thereâs pages in the front that kidâs can customize an âabout meâ section and pages inserted in the middle for them to âdraw something that makes you happy.â The book exudes Christian values of joy, kindness, and love. Thereâs a little chart on each day page to help the kidâs evaluate their mood and what âkind ofâ day they had. Thereâs a place to recognize a blessing in your day and write special prayer intentions. Thereâs also a space for how they helped someone or what they learned. The book isnât any denomination, but as a Catholic mom, I love that this is building a foundation for regular prayer, daily examen, and considering how they are living the works of mercy. Itâs a gentle way to cultivate good spiritual habits that will hopefully become a rock solid foundation. I also like the reflections from scripture on the bottom of each page. Itâs definitely created to encourage living a Christian life and not just having God be âsomething you do on Sunday mornings.â What a lovely little book!

Not a fan
I really wanted to love this journal. But there is a huge focus on daily affirmations that have to do with the individual instead of God. There is even a page dedicated to âI AMâ and âI CANâ writing about things that make YOU awesome. This is like an introductory bridge into man-centeredness, not of a life revolving around God and His will. Not giving it to my grandson like I intended. This makes me sad. There are some good elements in it, but there are enough me monster mentalities out there that donât belong in a prayer journal.

Very nice way to introduce your child to gratitude journaling
I have a little one who is approaching 10 and struggles to find the positive in her day. She sees things as glass half full even if itâs fairly full- it wasnât to the TOP therefore she was cheated of her full glass of water. She has a very hard time finding gratitude or even showing grace to others. We are working on it, trying to do what we can to help prevent her becoming a spoiled or entitled child who feels she is owed something. One way that I like to reflect on my own life and share with my husband and family about my day is keeping a gratitude journal. This functions very similarly but it also walks the child through finding joy in their day, praying for others and then reflecting on how they can do something kind tomorrow. There is a biblical message at the bottom- scripture or an anecdote so it is created with a Christian outlook in mind. We are extremely happy with the way the journal is structured and how itâs been helping our daughter to find joy in her day.

Giving to my 11 year old son with autism
My son has been struggling lately with thinking he isn’t as (fast, strong, smart, ect) as everyone around him. He has been struggling with his self worth because of his diagnosis. I will be using this journal with him to make a point of helping him to see himself in a more positive light.

Perfect beginner journal
This is easy to utilize and age appropriate for children in elementary school who can read and write. This is also a great way to bond together or teach a child. The book is durable for the most part. There is some repetition which make it great for practice.

Sweet journal for reflecting
This journal is so well designed. It’s great for both kids and adults to have a tool to sit and reflect on your day and find something to be grateful for. We use it as a family, so we all benefit from sharing our gratitude.

I ordered this prayer and gratitude journal for my 11 year-old daughter. As she comes up to high school, I would like her to have somewhere to write her feelings down but also focus on God and gratitude for her blessings. The pages are undated so there isnât the pressure to complete it every day. On each section there are prompts to complete and I really like that they arenât too complicated. I think it is important to keep the prompts short and simple so that the child doesnât feel like it is hard work to complete them and these are written just right in my opinion.Recommended.

Having children explore their faith is wonderful, and this journal certainly helps with that. The colorful pages and prompts sparked my child’s interest, and the daily affirmations have subtly become a part of their routine. The space for prayer requests and reflections has encouraged thoughtful conversations and I’ve noticed a growing sense of gratitude in my child. However, some of the prompts are a bit advanced for younger children. Overall, it’s a sweet tool, but might be better suited for slightly older kids.

This child’s prayer and gratitude journal is absolutely beautiful and would make a perfect gift for a child’s confirmation, Sunday school etc.The book has a gorgeous feel softcover and the pages are printed beautifully giving a real sense of quality and luxury. The first 10 pages are dedicated to explaining simply about the practice of daily affirmations and prayer. Following this there is space to record 6 months worth of daily reflections, each with a different Bible quote or thought provoking question. The journal ends with some blank pages for creating writing. The price is fair and this journal comes highly recommended.

Even though this is aimed for children, I actually ordered it for myself as I like to keep a gratitude journal and mine is running out.I am not Christian, but I am interested in all faiths, and I am very impressed with this journal. It is beautifully presented, with lovely quality paper, and a very tactile soft cover. There are two ribbon bookmarks which I find very useful. The Introduction to Christianity is very interesting and modern, which I think would appeal to children. I am certainly going to enjoy using it and feel very lucky to have received this through vine.If it had a tab to hold a pen, that wouldâve made it absolutely perfect. This would make it a lovely gift for anybody interested in focusing on the positive in their lives and I am pleased that part of the proceeds go to tearfund

Got this for a young Christian family member. This journal is a wonderfully presented. The yellow outer bound is soft and the inner pages are really nicely designed with marked spaces for feelings, prayers, thankfulness etc. Itâs a really nice way for a young person to be able to put down their thoughts in a structured manner. Each page also has a link to a piece of scripture for their own Bible study. The pages are not dated and, instead, they have a space to write your own date in. This is great because thereâs no pressure for them to fill it in everyday. Just when they want to. Thereâs enough room for 6 months worth of recordings.Overall, Iâm really happy with this kids journal. Itâs a great help to those that are exploring faith and prayer and a lovely way for them to study and express their thoughts and prayers in a way that can be recorded and looked back on in later years.
