WELL DESIGNED FOR GOOD LOOKS AND FUNCTIONALITY
Delta Faucet 79725-PN Cassidy 24-Inch Double Towel Bar.I looked at a lot of double towel bars and the biggest gripe I had with most of them was the rods were spaced too close together to allow enough air space for towels to actually dry.The Cassidyâs two rod design doubles the number of towels you can hang so if wall space is tight, hereâs your answer. An attractive design. Iâve used these for about a year and the finish is still as nice as day one. The towel bar rods are hollow however they are of a sufficient diameter and thickness so there has been no issues what so ever with their function or sturdiness. These should remain serviceable for many years to come.The spacing of the bars on the Delta Cassidy is sufficient to keep the rear towel away from the wall and also allow an air space between towels hanging on the rack. This air space allows towels do actually dry. The spacing on many towel bars so skimpy that the towels touch the wall or each other so that nothing can dry properly.On the Delta Cassidy the rear bar is about 3″ away from the wall on the ends and 4″ at the center. The outer bar is about 6″ away from the wall at the ends and 7″ at the center and the two bars are about 2 3/4 inches apart from each other. This may not sound like a lot of space but it is sufficient for towels to have enough air space between them to dry.Mounting is not difficult for the average do-it-yourselfer. Instructions and the mounting hardware is included.One thing to check carefully upon arrival. The set screw that holds the stanchion to itâs wall mount plate is shipped screwed into the stanchion itself, not in the parts bag. I bought six Cassidy towel bars in various configurations and I found more often than not these set screws had worked themselves out of their hole during shipping and were either rattling around loose in the box or lost altogether. I did have to return one set of towel bars for a replacement because the set screw was lost. So, just make sure they are all there as soon as your order arrives. Donât wait until you are hanging your towel bar to discover you may be missing one little set screw.All in all, after one year in use, Iâd still buy them again. In my opinion they are a good value for the price.

Looks great but it does require assembly.
The entire line of these delta towel racks require complete assembly. I donât recall seeing that anywhere in the product descriptions. I bought four of these and learned during the assembly and hanging of the first one to make sure your measurements are ACCURATE and to actually drill ALL of your mounting holes from 1/16â to 1/8â CLOSER TOGETHER than the guide shows. Otherwise, there WILL be a little slop in the bars after theyâre assembled and hung. Other than that, take your time and donât rush it. Theyâre a great looking product and really add a lot of charm to your bathroom.
