It does work as a waterfall
Reviewers were saying it doesn’t work well as a waterfall, but it really does. You just can’t have any air movement. No open window, and you need to stand or sit still for a bit. With some patience it will settle and come down and even create a pool at the bottom. It’s very nice. It was a gift for my son and he likes it.

Functions well, but recommend buying better smelling incense.
The fountain itself works perfectly. The incense itself functions well, but smells horrible. The stick holder you’ll need to put something else under the stick to catch the ash, luckily it comes with a little mat meant to keep the fountain in place but also works to catch the falling ash from the stick and is easy to clean.

I was sort of upset at the purchase of this item. It was a lot smaller than I was led to believe. I have burned it a few times and I am not a fan of any of the sense as of yet. It gives off a burning smell rather than a fragrance,

Perfect Size for my small night stand
I know others were complaining about the size but with a night stand full of whichy-poo items, I needed something compact. This is perfect and works well. I did not use the artificially dyed cones that came with it. I instead used natural cones from India and boy did it put on a beautiful show.FYI: After each use, clean the resin using a large cotton swab and alcohol, cleans it right on up and it will be ready for the next use without a burning smell (when using natural cones of course).
