“You are already all the love, joy, peace, and fulfillment you seek. It is only when we forget that fact and get caught up in our thinking that we do not see it.”This book has so many amazing one liners that really make you feel something deeply.I deal with anxiety and panic disorder and reading this book helped me a lot. A few days back I was feeling a panic attack coming on and I immediately grabbed this book and picked up where I left off. I instantly felt relief and started actually laughing a little. The mind is such a scary yet beautiful thing.Anyways loved the book and it’s a quick read.

    10/10!
Wow!!! My boyfriend and I both read this book and it is an absolute must read! In the beginning, Jospeh Nguyen says you will be different by the end, and he was absolutely right. It has made us both feel so much relief as we both struggled with mental health issues. It is a total mind refresh. It was absolutely amazing and I would honestly recommend it to everyone because anyone can benefit from this. The book was an easy read and it felt more personal than trying to be “professional” which I really liked. We will be buying some of his other books to read.

    Good book
As someone who studies psychology, this book is psych 101 if you’ve studied it. Great for people looking for motivation and trying to reach a positive mindset. As a psychologist, I didn’t find it life-changing at all, but for a layperson I think it’s a great motivational and education book to inspire positivity and a change in perspective. If you’re struggling with these things I’d recommend. It’s a quick and easy read but has a lot of useful information if you don’t have a background in psychology.

    Excellent read
“Don’t Believe Everything You Think” is a thought-provoking book that delves into the nature of our thoughts and how they shape our perception of reality. The author skillfully explains how our minds can often mislead us, creating narratives that aren’t necessarily true. This book encourages readers to question their automatic thoughts and provides practical strategies for developing a more mindful and discerning approach to thinking. One of the standout aspects of the book is its accessibility; the concepts are presented in a clear and engaging manner, making it easy for readers to grasp and apply the ideas to their own lives. The author uses relatable examples and anecdotes to illustrate how unchecked thoughts can lead to unnecessary stress and anxiety. Moreover, “Don’t Believe Everything You Think” emphasizes the importance of self-awareness and mindfulness in achieving mental clarity and emotional well-being. It offers valuable insights into how we can break free from negative thought patterns and cultivate a more positive and realistic outlook on life.

  7. This is an amazing insightful book. The more I delved into it the deeper I was inside me. The book is a psychological reflection of each human being. I have myself credit for choosing this book.

One of the best books in my life journey
This book has a power to understand self. When I was reading it I kind of read myself .I think I can help myself and my negativity from the insight that I gained from it. I was really amazed at the wisdom of the writer. He has a deep insight and the book is the reflection of that.

    Wonderful…buy it now!
I’ve been a negative thinker most of my life. I always attributed it to being a realist but it really started affecting the way I felt as after all, how you think is how you feel. I am 53 and decided I was sick of blaming others for how I felt – this is my doing. The early part of this book with the Buddhist and boat was an eye opener! Every chapter after that was cleansing…that’s the only way I can describe it. If I said I enjoyed the book, that’s not enough credit where deserved. This book was an emotional lifesaver for me and for that I say thank you to the author. I was skeptical but you are right – it changes your thinking gradually and feels so wonderful as a result ❤️.

I loved this book so much! It felt so comfortable reading it, despite the fact it had some hard-hitting truths about how we overthink, in fact that we think at all! Easy to read, easy to understand, and with great anecdotes throughout as well. Highly recommend!

Wow. Just wow. I am so grateful that I bought this book. I have been in a bit of a rut lately in life and with my job. I felt a disconnect with the universe and couldn’t understand why. This book truly helped me see that the cause of it was my over thinking mind. To learn that there is a difference between thoughts and thinking and to understand how to approach them in life has truly made my life so much better.I am going to buy a few copies for some close friends as I think anyone can benefit from reading this book. It’s definitely a book I will reread often as a reminder to myself to stay in the present moment and to stop overthinking everything.I loved the Zen stories as well to help us understand the concepts in a teachable fashion.Thank you Joseph for listening to the universe and writing this book for so many others to read. My life has been so richly blessed because of it.
