Amazing!
The how-to-guide was very informative and was simple to read and realistic. Very impressive. I enjoyed seeing all of the examples as well as all of the added tips, tricks, and information. I have tried everything from journals, calendars, date books, and planners. This was exactly what I needed and am so happy I gave it a try. The included journal is durable and has held up very well so far with my busy, crazy, hectic life. I’m not a very colorful person so the calm muted colors are amazing and the added pocket on the back has come in very handy. I might get something more personalized towards me in the future, but this is a great journal if you are just starting and trying to get the hang of dot journaling. Over all 5 Stars!!!

Perfect Dot Journal Start Up Kit
Great value! The book was a clear and helpful guide detailing the basics of dot journalling. The pictures were great: showed neat and tidy pages, clearly demonstrating the grid or page setup options without overwhelming the reader with decorative options. This was just the book I needed to give me the how and what dot journalling. The set was a nice option to provide an inexpensive journal with the book. The journal seems to be nice quality, with dot grid pages, page numbers, elastic band. The tone of the book was encouraging, lighthearted, but very practical. Covers the basics of set up, offers a myriad of options for pages and trackers, and touches on the best pens and markers should one want to get fancier eventually. Excellent value. Highly recommend this set.

Excellent starter
I know that most of the things in this book are online in one form or another, but reading this book helped me figure out how I wanted my journal to be arranged. I like the simplistic approach. It was a great starter and helped me determine that using an A5 binder would be more my style. The paper is on the thinner side so you will have shadowing and maybe some bleeding, but if you’re like me and this is just your starter pack it’s not a big deal. I ended up using double sided tape to tape pages together so I didn’t have to see the shadows and bleeding. Plus, it’s a great book for testing your designs and layouts.

Book is good for BuJo newbies, Standard journal included
This is a pretty good set. Itâs what you see in the picture, no surprises. The book covers Bullet Jounaling, just calls it âdot journalingâ. Donât worry if you wondered if it was different-youâre getting both BuJo coverage and a bit of diary writing advice. There are quite a bunch of author opinions in there with regard to previous journal writers. I almost got the impression that I was being shamed a bit for how Iâve written in my BuJo for the past year, but itâs mine so meh (lol!). Upside, the author gives a couple of samples in each section, and Briefly explains the differences, which is useful for a newbie. I didnât see much that was unique, so as an existing Bullet Journal user it was mostly a review. There are a bunch of people on Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube etc who offer the info in the book for free, but for what I typically pay for Moleskin (or similar) you can get both the reference book & the dot journal. Why not see if you can learn something new in those 200-ish pages?Journal Does have pocket at the back, which is critical for me. It also has a strap to close the book, but not a string to use as a page marker (I wanted that…). I had to add my own page finder, but thatâs simple enough. It hasn’t bled through on me yet, so the paper seems like it will be thick enough :).Note: The journal it comes with can gets dirty quickly if youâre not careful; the book has a light color cover made from what seems to be a pretty inexpensive material. The color is nice, but I donât think itâll stay that way for long.

Terrific how-to book and dot journal
This is the second set I’ve purchased, in addition to a copy of the Kindle stand-alone book from the set. It’s well written, has terrific suggestions and wonderful illustrations. It makes a great gift for anyone, but I purchased these for college students trying to organize their lives, manage anxiety (making lists is great for that), and have a creative outlet. I’m sure it’s not the last set I will buy – it’s a wonderful gift.

It’s been big and bulky and it become more cumbersome than useful. When I saw this book
For the longest time I have carried a planner and a journal/todo list. It’s been big and bulky and it become more cumbersome than useful. When I saw this book, I was so excited. I can combine the two!! It can have blemishes and not be perfect! I need instructions and examples and I need to touch and feel things. And that’s why I like having the physical book. This book has been a wealth of information and templates for me to try out. I’ve gotten confident enough in the layout format to not carry the book around. I’m going on a vacation soon and I have all the info written in the day, and I can journal about it too. The dot journal included is a great introductory dot journal. Pocket and little band around it.

Ok for you but not for me
I like this but didnât realize it was blank and I had to do all the work. It does come with a very good book to show you the ropes but I didnât feel like reading a novel so I skimmed it. I decided to use it more as a journal and just ordered a Panda Planner. I am hoping that will be more my speed. I think this is good if you are crafty because you can basically design your own system. I need someone elseâs system that I can tweak a little. I am not very organized ( why I need a planner) so all in all, itâs a great concept but not the best choice for me. Itâs nicely made and the book has some great visuals.

The way it is arranged makes it so easy to get started
This is exactly what I needed. I have poured over blog post after Pin after Instagram post trying to find the bullet journal path right for me. The way it is arranged makes it so easy to get started, like someone is holding your hand the whole way. (Which, pathetically, is what I need sometimes) I am a terrible over thinker and this book helped me get to the point and go with the flow. I love how she explains things, I even LOLed at some parts. Highly recommended for people like me who are anxious overthinkers, procrastinators, and have a fear of not doing something “right.” This will give you a great foundation for your dot journal journey.

I bought the book on kindle but it works better to refer to the illustration in paper version. Was unsure about the journal as there’s not much description but it’s great! Love the ribbon paper mark, elastic and pocket in back. Paper is good quality and binding holds, so far. It would be nice if you could just buy the journal for journal #2.The information is great in this book and offers lots of suggestions for everyone!
