Dr. Bronners is the best!Pros: concentrated, applies and absorbs easily, non-sensitizing. fragrance mix is clean and pleasant, but not strong or synthetic; not sticky, works on body, face, and in a pinch, as a leave-in conditioner or hair mask; no waste packaging, ethical company, cruelty-free, vegan, scent plays well with other products because itâs light and clean, good for the whole family (except baby because of the possible essential oil issue) good price (two pumps cover my legs and arms)Cons: tiny amount of orange essential oil, to which some people are sensitive. Patch test first.The packaging isnât glam. Iâll take a sturdy, wordy, functional Dr. Bronnerâs bottle overa $50 crystal-infused glitter bomb bottle with $3 of lotion any day.Bottom line: I highly recommend this lotion, and Dr. Bronnerâs versatile soaps and lip balm.

Light weight, amazing patchouli scent
Iâve been buying Dr. Bronners Patchouli lotion for many years. It has always delivered. The lotion consistency is thin but the scent is the highlight. I will say itâs not for everyone! Iâve worn this and received rave compliments and also people that told me I smell like a grandma. Either way, itâs an earthy scent that isnât for everyone. I still think itâs a great product!

Great lotion, but scent can be too strong
Great natural lotion. Has done a lot of good to my skin. The scent is fantastic, except it is too strong. I would suggest making a fragrance-free variety, so customers can mix them with the scented varieties to attain the level of fragrance that they want. Will continue to buy, though it seems a bit overpriced.

Great for sensory issues!
I have very dry skin and also have some sensory issues that make me hate most lotions. I was looking for something with limited chemicals and decided to give this a try. Pleasantly surprised at the consistency! Itâs lightweight and not greasy at all. It took about 2 minutes to fully absorb in but as I was getting dressed I noticed that it didnât even feel like I had applied any lotion at all except for the fact that my skin felt more calm. I could see myself using this daily which is a first!The scent is strong initially, but once itâs absorbed it doesnât smell like much. I bought the orange lavender scent and I would say itâs much more lavender forward but itâs tempered by the orange. Just donât expect any orange scent to come through. Iâd say this scent could work for men as it doesnât smell âfloralâ like you might expect from lavender, more on the âwoodsy/herbalâ end of the spectrum.

Love, love, love this lotion!!
I have chemical sensitivity to anything with perfumes, a friend suggested I try this lotion and Iâm so glad I did! It has a light natural fragrance and makes my skin feel so soft. Since Iâve been using it people are constantly telling me I smell so good. Best part I have no allergic reaction while using it.

Great product, poor packaging
This is a great product. Very fresh and pleasant scent but the pump dispenser was broken on arrival. It was not packed well. This was the only negative aspect of the purchase. I found a dispenser lid that fit the bottle and made the best of it. This lotion smells SO good!

im not one to leave bad reviews, so it takes me a lot to do so. i had high hopes for this product as iâve tried their soap in the past & was pleasantly surprised with it. however, not only is the bottle super small, i have to pump at least 12-16 times for just my upper body. for example, it takes about 3 pumps for about half my arm. i have to do so because it is extremely thin & seems like it soaks into my skin at first, but doesnât leave it feeling moisturized AT ALL. iâm not blaming it for causing my eczema to come back completely, but with no other moisturizer did i have eczema & i havenât had it since i was super young? i feel like i wouldnât have it flaring up if it was moisturizing like it should. on top of that, by the end of the day it leaves my skin feeling scaly & dry! never had i had this problem with past moisturizers. very disappointed & not worth the money at all. the smell is nice though.edit: as soon as i switched back to a normal moisturizer my eczema disappeared againâ¦
