It’s better when it burns on its own and not inside a container
I usually only burn soy or beeswax candles because I dislike the smoke with paraffin wax candles. This set (Drippless Beeswax Pillar Candle Bulk – Hand Rolled Pure Natural Beeswax Candles 2 x 4 inch, Great for Home Decor, Best Choice for Mother Father or Sister Gift – 6 Pack Ivory White) came in a pack of 6 that measures 2″ in diameter by 4″ tall. They are also hand rolled instead of poured. The color is ivory and very uniformed and the roll is tight, the pattern gives the honeycomb impression, that’s very lovely.I burned off one inside a 4″ tall borosilicate glass container. At first, it was great for the first hour but in hour two once the candled melted down about 1.5-2″, it was obvious the heat inside was getting too hot and the flame danced a bit creating a small bit of smoke. I didn’t have it in an draft, I think it’s just the nature of candles burning down inside a glass surround. By the end of hour two, it dripped and melted down the side into the glass. I included pics to show this. At this rate, I wouldn’t think I could get 10 hours of burn time.I thought about this overnight and decided that I should try to burn it on something shallow by itself. I ended up just using a plastic lid for this experiment. I know I wasn’t going to burn it all the way down and I had it in the same spot as before which is on my desk area where I’ll be sitting doing work. It’s been about 1.5 hours again and so far, it’s been great. The flame is mostly steady and the wax is melting inwards and pooling without dripping down the sides. It really is a nice size and I like that it doesn’t have a scent, I find most candles to be too perfumy for my taste but I just love the glow of candles.I had burned it an hour earlier and let it set back up since I had to leave. When I got back, I trimmed the wick back a bit and now it’s been burned a total of 2.5 hours and I have about 3″ of candle left. I feel burning it open by itself will yield 9-10 hours, just put it on a heat safe candle stand and away from drafts.I remember I had a candle plate to use so I tried to move it to take a good pic but in my moving it, it broke the wax tension and of course, dripped down the side. This is what’s called “user error” and why it’s important to always put candles on a surface and container that is designed to burn candles on/in. And probably best practice to only burn them for about an hour and let the wax set back up to prolong it. Hope this was helpful. I like these candles and I’m glad I was able to try them out.

I would highly recommend these to anyone who loves candles!They burn cleanly and beautifully every time. They look beautiful with their honeycomb design.If you are someone who likes to add herbs or scents to candles – these are easy un unroll, add, and then reroll them which is a huge plus.I burn a lot of candles, and these are at the top of my list!

Smells great naturally. Nothing artificial here. Lasts a good long time.
Still burning them but I think I will get another batch to send out as a Birthday gift. Just a really nice smell to them and they just seem to be lasting forever. Kept the old wax to use as a lubricant for door hinges and anything else that squeaks. A little pricey but this is quality and to me it’s worth it.

Burns clean, but too briefly
The candles are well made, yet ultra-light, and perhaps the wicks are prepped poorly, without much quality assurance. To explain:Had three burning in separate holders concurrently, with wicks cut to same length. One burned down to the base in two hours. Other two are past the half-point, yet still some burn time left.So, worth the money? Hardly. Half the cost? Perhaps.They do burn cleanly, I’ll say, and the are bonafide beeswax by all appearances. Other than that. Meh.

Beautiful Rolled Candles
Candles are my all time favorite and I use them daily. These candles are unique because they have a pretty honeycomb pattern and they are rolled and not poured like other candles. They will unroll if you try to do so but they are tight enough to hold it in shape. The pattern gives a look of a real honeycomb. The candles are unscented, dripless and smokeless which I like because I can’t stand strong scents either. I am using one of the candles on my dinner table and it looks stunning. I will be saving a few for decorative purpose to display on special occasions.

These are rolled candles not poured.
These care nice unscented candles that are rolled not poured, so they don’t have a smooth outer surface. I placed mine in glass holders meant for pillar candles and they make a great display especially if you use a decorative setting around the base of the holder. The base of the candle has a metal insert that attaches to the wick, on all of my candles this piece actually protruded from the candle slightly wobbly stance.
