Great pricing, even better coconut oil
I use coconut oil for everything — from almost all my cooking and/or baking that requires oil, to using it as a carrier with healing essential oils. It’s fantastic as a skin softener and as a base for body scrubs.This tub is about 1/2 the cost I had been paying for the brand I’ve used for 15 years. The big seller, though, is that it’s carried by amazon, so I’m getting great quality oil without the costly shipping charges.

I started using what I consider to be a lot of virgin cold pressed organic coconut oil. I use a gallon or more per month. This has enabled me to try most brands side by side. I started with Spectrum brand unrefined cold pressed virgin coconut oil. It was good but expensive in small glass containers. No complaints other than price on Spectrum. This one had a really nice smell, nice flavor and the color was clear and clean like water. This is the best quality coconut oil I ever had the pleasure of using. This means that they separated the meat from the shell before cold pressing it. I figured all brands did that until I bought Tropical Plantation brand coconut oil. Yuck. It looked like watered down whiskey after I melted it. It smelled and tasted funny too. The TP brand has good ratings by others but I can only guess that those people didn’t have anything to compare it to. This Coconut oil is as good as it gets. The bucket with the little plastic handle is a nice bonus. They are very useful for cleaning ,feeding animals and painting.

I bought this oil because the one from Costco has become very unpalatable, with hard chunks and a weird feel to it, like it’s not all real coconut oil. So I paid the extra money for this one and was so relieved to get a good quality oil! It tastes good, not as strong a coconut as some other brands I’ve had, but I like a strong coconut flavor, and this has a medium one.(Another reason I quit buying Costco- not a good taste ). But for those who bake, and want to use it for moisturizing their skin, and feeding it to their cats, lol, like we do (it keeps them from getting hairballs and indigestion issues) it’s perfect. very smooth, absorbs well, and tastes good. What more can you ask? I’ll be buying it again.I also used this for making some salve and it did very well.

very good coconut oil for 10 bucks for 32 oz really light nice smell and taste, only problem was lid unscrewed a little bit and leaked a little inside the package, lost maybe a half oz or less, could have been worse but still a little annoying to deal with. my favorite brand is bronners brown label coconut oil but this is a good lower cost alternative i am happy with and like that its in a glass container
