Includes: one (1) 6.5 x 8.5-inches faux leather cover gratitude journal with foil stamping, 160 pages. Full-color art throughout. Ribbon marker. Yay, we made a guided gratitude journal! (Would it be too meta to say “You’re welcome!”?) Sincerely though, this journal is filled with inspiring words, prompts, questions, and art to help you start noticing the good stuff more often, and feel happier for real. (It’s science!) This journal is also pretty and fun, which means it’s kind of a homerun gift. Need a mindfulness journal + gratitude journal for women or other humans? We got you! File under: inspirational gifts for women (or anyone who wants to feel the grateful feels!). Words by Kari Chapin; Illustrations by Emily McDowell. Em & Friends makes products that speak to the human condition with honesty, humor, and heart. Founded by writer and illustrator Emily McDowell, they now also partner with other writers and artists to create gifts and cards for the relationships we really have—and to help people connect when they’re not sure what to say.

Guided, but let’s you get lost
A guided journal to me is one that gives me prompts on every page or so. This journal gives lists of questions to ponder and answer with lots of blank pages in between. The prompts are kind of grouped topically, but it feels like many of them are too similar to create breadth and depth in responses.
