A nice, basic unit
Diffusers have become extremely commonplace. Even if you don’t believe in the promised benefits of essential oils, the truth remains that diffusing them just smells nice and can make a place feel very inviting. Even if you don’t use oils, just diffusing water can be nice, as it can humidify the air.As diffusers are commonplace, what is considered to be basic is kind of relative. For me, a basic diffuser is one that simply diffuses water, has no fancy designs or patterns on it, and may or may not use light to change the colors of the water. This fits pretty well into that area, hence why I am calling it more of a basic unit – some may argue that the light makes this a bit more fancy, which is why I also said it’s a bit relative.This is a smaller unit, so it’s something you could tuck away and be a bit discrete if the humidifier doesn’t fit into your aesthetic, however keep in mind that any humidifier needs a bit of room to really work efficiently so take that into consideration when interior decorating. It should also not be immediately against any wood furniture because obviously, water vapor. The unit is very silent, which is particularly good if you are someone who is very sensitive to sounds. Best of all, it can shut off automatically. That’s something that I think is kind of standard for most units but still something that is great to have as it helps extend the device’s longevity.Price-wise, this is fine. It’s pretty standard. You can find some cheaper, you can find some more expensive, but this specific type of diffuser, this is about what you can expect to pay.

This really pumps out the vapors!
This dumpling looking oil diffuser is a small workhorse. I have had some in the past that barely vaporize anything but this one compensates for those! It releases a thick stream of vapor that allows the light to cast on it when the light in the room is low. The lid on this just pulls off which makes it easy to fill. The shape of the unit makes it very stable.Some negatives worth noting is that it doesn’t come with a USB power brick in the box but does come with a USB cable. So you need to supply your own USB power brick/outlet in order to use this. Phones don’t come with the chargers anymore so I didn’t have any extra laying around. I had to unplug one I was using for something else in order to use this. Another negative is that it is noisy. So if you were going to use this in a bedroom while you sleep, it may be difficult if you are a light sleeper. The sound that it makes is like simmering soup and maybe that is just due to the power of the pump or whatever is used because again, it produces a good amount of vapor! The buttons on this are not great. I couldn’t figure out how to get the lighting to change and there were no instructions in the box.Overall though, it does work as it should. I just think it could be better.

Many better options
I have several diffusers and I can’t recommend this one because:- there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn the light off- there are no instructions and the color selection and diffuser settings are not intuitive- they cord is white and the diffuser is black. Not a deal breaker, but how hard is it to send a matching cord?- it’s loud and sounds bad – the diffuser disk shoots water up which makes a sound and the sound is louder than all of the other diffusers I have- it looks cheap – looks are subjective, but the semigloss plastic just looks cheap IMOOn the plus side, it is powered by a USB C cable, but to cancel that out there is no power adapter included so you have to source your own.There are many better options our there for similar prices.
