Well-Made Relaxing Diffuser: Just a Couple of Quirks
I have tested many water-based diffusers, and they all pretty much work the same: they provide an ultrasonic mist that disperses your essential oil along with some form of colored LED lights. But this one is a bit more creative with its fireplace design. And the quality of this one is noticeably better, with heavier-weight plastic parts that fit together well. In fact, the top lid fits so well, I struggled a bit when trying to first remove it. (Hint: it does just lift right off – grab it at the edge.) So if you like the look and features of this diffuser, you won’t be disappointed in the quality.You can run all the features separately, including the mist, the revolving fireplace flames, and the LED lights for each. You can “freeze” the color of the mist and/or the fireplace, or let the LEDs cycle through all colors. This diffuser does come with a remote, making it easy to change settings on the fly. However, one disappointing feature is that the diffuser will not remember your settings after you turn it off. So, for example, if you like to keep the mist purple and the fireplace blue, both will revert to amber every time you turn it off and back on. And then you’ll need to cycle through all the colors to make your selections again.One other annoying feature of the remote for me is that some of the functions interfere with the LED backlighting behind my TV – randomly changing those colors as well. So I have to be careful to use the remote very close to the diffuser (and pointed away from my TV). Not necessarily a fault of this product, but realize that the remote could interfere with other LED lights in your home.Lastly, the diffuser is not silent. In a room with other background noise (like your TV), you probably won’t notice the noise unless you’re close to the diffuser. But in a quiet bedroom as you’re unwinding for sleep, you might find this noise distracting. I placed a microphone near the diffuser when I recorded the demo video: take a listen. But also watch the video as I let the unit cycle through and the colors, then I fix the mist color to aqua and the fireplace color to purple at the end – just to show your its flexibility in settings.I placed my diffuser where I could view it from the couch, and I left it running in random color mode. Anytime it caught my eye, I found the motion of the fireplace to look more like the northern lights dancing behind some mountains, which I found to be equally as pleasing as the fireplace motif.

Charming bedroom fireplace
I’ve only been using the fireplace so far as not that dry around here right now. The fireplace adds a nice ambiance in the bedroom as night and while not apparent in my video it projects off a back and overhead light from the diffuser port so it lights up the surroundings with a faint light that acts as a comforting nightlight. The fireplace itself has a variety of colors as seen in video. Very happy with this.
