Almost like the real thing, minus the danger of burning down your house.
So Iâve been trying to find a realistic looking candle where the battery life lasts longer than a week. I bought the cheap ones from ikea but have to change out batteries every week and got tired of that quickly. So I stumbled upon these. Honestly I thought they were rather pricey compared to others out there, but I decided to give them a try based off the battery life these are supposed to have. I got them in and set them up and was automatically disappointed with the amount of light they gave off. They seemed rather dim to me at first compared to the ikea candles. After using them for a while I realize theyâre not dim. Theyâre just so life like, almost like real candles. The way they flicker and the flame moves are so realistic that most canât figure out theyâre not real. they also feel like real wax candles on the outside. I actually love them and Iâm so glad I took the leap to buy these over the others out there. Also the battery life seems to be great. Iâve had them a few weeks and havenât had to change out a better yet which is nice.The only bone I have to pick with them is the timer. The timer is only 4 hours. I wish it were 6 or 8 hours. They sell a remote that go along with them which I plan on getting, but I still with the timer was a tad bit longer. Other than that these are amazing faux candles. Almost like the real thing without the danger of burning your house down.

Very nice candle
I am very happy with this purchase. The candle is covered with real wax and flickers like a real candle. I also like the timer on it so it goes on and off by itself for about 4 hours. You can opt not to use this as well.

Beautiful
Just unpacked my 2 candles and turned them on. So incredibly beautiful, just like the description, gorgeous realistic flickering white flame . The remote is not necessary for me as the timer is what I needed but may purchase one if I eventually need to turn them on at different times of the day or for less or more than 4 hours. I wish I had bought these first as I’ve had to return others because of cheap stationary fake looking orange flames that other brands use. Will definitely purchase more for different rooms in my home. Very reasonable price for the quality and realism of these candles.

These are beautiful, batteries last forever, and they look so real you would never know! A house sitter called me once in a panic that we had left lit candles while weâre gone. Then she got close enough to try to blow them out. ð

Nice ambience
We have several of these candles around the house. We find them attractive and very useful. These low-intensity LEDs are used as safety lights (read: night lights) for us old folks who occasionally need to wander around the house at night. The intensity is low enough to see, yet not disturb sleep.

Timer problems
I like this candle, but the timer “drifts” by about 3 minutes every day, so by the end of a week or so, the On/Off is so far off that it renders it pretty useless, and I really don’t want to have to remind myself to “reset” it every week. I know the item description says the timer is “analog” and is dependent on good batteries to keep accurate time, BUT I tested this thoroughly. Initially I had a package of C batteries that I had previously bought at a store, ALL batteries were marked with the same dates. I installed 2 in the 7 inch Simply Collected candle and 2 in the 5 inch. The 7 inch candle, TO THIS DAY, is still keeping EXACTLY accurate time. So, just to be thorough, I went to the store and got ANOTHER box of new C batteries, installed the batteries from the NEW package in the 5 inch, and it STILL “drifts”, so it seems to me to be a defect with the timer circuitry, NOT the batteries. I will order 1 more replacement 5 inch and HOPE the timer on it is good. If the new candle timer works, I will upgrade the rating.UPDATE:The replacement candle I received was, if anything, WORSE than the first one. After about a month of use, the candle now comes on a FULL TWO HOURS AFTER the time I originally set it for, and this is with brand new, never used, major brand name batteries. The manufacturer is obviously receiving extremely defective timer circuits from whatever supplier they’re using, and trying to blame the consumer for using “bad batteries”. And again, very mysteriously, the 7-inch candle of the same brand is STILL coming on at EXACTLY the right time every single day after over 3 months of use, so the problem HAS to be the timer circuit in the 5-inch candles. If you are cool with having to manually start and stop the candle every single day, then by all means go ahead and purchase one, but otherwise, steer clear until the manufacturer drops their current circuitry supplier and goes with a reputable one.

They are more realistic compared to other electronic candles. They create a nice ambiance and are safe to leave lit. The remote is convenient so you do not need to lift the candle to turn it off. The battery life is great. No changing battery every 2 or 3 weeks.Most of all my wife loves them.I have since ordered more for the bathroom.

The candle flickers almost the same as a real one. I bought the remote in addition to the candle and I recommend both purchases. It really looks like a real candle! You can position the slider under the candle so that it is on for 4 hours and it really helps with the remote control who has only the on and off options.
