Love This, Love This, Love This
Heat this warmer plate in your microwave for a few minutes, and you can keep things warm on your counter instead of your stove top for a long time. IIt’s great for when you have company and are serving a buffet of some kind. I’ve put casseroles on it, even kept steaks warm. It’s perfect. I’m thinking about buying a few more so I can use them for when I have friends over for the Super Bowl game. I have a small kitchen, and it stores away in a tight corner really well. Love this!!!

Keeps food warm so you can eat more slowly
I used to warm my plate in the toaster oven. That worked but the heat did not last long. Using this warmer, the plate and food stays hot much longer. After trying one, I bought another for other family and friends. Great product.

Ordered two of these and got two different products.
I received my first hot-plate as a Christmas gift and was quite happy with it (the left plate in the image). It looked just like the image online, and it worked very well, keeping things hot for 20 minutes or more (using a recommended flat-bottom plate). I decided I wanted another of these and ordered a second one using the exact same order number (right plate) and received an item that had a white stone with a different density. This stone does not get as hot, or keep its heat nearly as long. I heat both stones together (placing them face-to-face as directed) for 6 minutes in a 900w micro. The darker plate is VERY hot, the white plate is uncomfortably warm.If I only had an experience with the second plate, I would have been very disappointed – but I give the product 4 stars based solely on the performance of the first plate. I’d love to return the second plate and get the granite-colored item, but I’m now past the point of returning it. An email to the importing company (info@trademarkglobal.com) about exchanging the item was not returned. My suggestion is to order the plate, and if you get a white one, return it immediately for a replacement. Rinse and repeat until you get a dark-colored stone, you will be happy with it.

Wow! This lives up to it name! Microwave it for 2-3 miniutes and this plate keeps your food warm on your plate. My wife really likes this as she is a very slow eater.

Quality control issues with granite plate
I ordered (2) of these items. When they arrived I immediately inspected them. One was in perfect condition, the other was not. There were several gouges in the finished surface of the plate, obviously done during the manufacturing process. See the photos. My conclusion is there is little to no quality control during the manufacturing and packaging of this product. There is no way a product with this damage should have ever left the manufacturer. So, buyer beware!UPDATED after use: These items are actually dangerous! The stone plates are NOT fastened into the plastic housing. That isn’t too bad if you are heating and using only one plate at a time, but when following the included instructions for heating two of these plates they have to placed face-to-face. The stones have to be facing and in contact with each other. That seems OK until you try to separate the two assemblies after they’re hot. You can’t do it without pot holders or something, and even then the assembly on top comes apart. Just utterly awkward, plus I was very concerned I would drop the stone on my foot.With the problems I have I put these items aside and will only use them if I have to. And I should mention they didn’t seem to hold heat very long. Looking elsewhere for a similar item that has the stone and holder bonded together would be my recommendation.With that said, the product is still functional. My problem is with the appearance of the product. Mist people would not be happy to place this so obviously damaged product on their dining table.I considered returning this damaged product but it is more trouble to do so than it is worth. Also, it took 13 days for the product to arrive and I’m not willing to wait that long to receive a replacement product.Bottom line is the product would be a welcome addition to my kitchen if it weren’t for the in-your-face cosmetic damage.

I bought this for my 92 year old mother that hates cold food but eats slow and has to warm her food 3 times throughout a meal. I stick this item in the microwave for 2 minutes, put her plate on there and her food stays warm until she finishes her meal. She absolutely loves it.
