Staying close with my teen, yes please <3
My daughter just turned 13 so I was thrilled to receive an advance copy of this journal for review. Maintaining a close bond with her is top priority as we head into these teen years. This is a shared journal that mom and daughter complete together. There are questions and writing prompts to get each expressing and the words flowing onto the paper. I love that the theme woven throughout the journal is a mindset of gratitude. Most important to me is the connection fostered between mom and daughter throughout the process of journaling together. The closeness. The knowing one another more fully. The journal helps to nurture an ease and openness in our communication that I know we'll lean upon many times throughout these coming years. Looking forward to gifting to friends in this same stage of parenting with their daughters!

This book has brought my teen and I so much closer.
My daughter is not someone that likes to write. She does not love to read. I enjoy both. I bought this book to help us connect. I love it because there is no deadlines. She writes in it then them I. We connect in a way that helps us. And builds us to be closer. I highly recommend this book for all teen mom and daughters. It’s very helpful in building a bond. And understanding one another.

Conversation starter!
Iâve been using this with my 15 year old granddaughter when I drive her to school. Gets a conversation started about important things. Hopefully it will build a bridge between us and keep her to think gratitude more often.

Connecting to my teen in a timeless way
Iâm a psychiatrist so a bit more picky about some of this stuff. However the prompts in this journal are meaningful and also appropriate amount of space for a teen who doesnât want to write too much. I look forward to this being a keepsake forever . Wish there was a boys version!

A fabulous tool to connect with my teen daughter.
I was excited to receive an advanced copy of this book. I have been a fan of Whitney Fleming for years. Her blogs are insightful, meaningful, and real. She gets it! I think this book will be a great way to connect with my 16 year old daughter and help create and cultivate conversations with a focus on gratitude. I think it will also be something I treasure for years to come.

Love this journal!
As the mom of 2 teens and one tween girl, I was so excited to receive an advanced copy of this journal.I also purchased a second journal so that I could complete it with each of my teens. I think itâs easy to get caught up in our day-to-day activities and appreciate that this gives us the opportunity to reflect on the positive aspects of our life.
