Lost in the Crowd –
Pleasant wax melting experience!
This is a set of two 4 oz bags of soy wax melts from Happy Wax out of North Carolina (USA). Each individual wax melt is the shape of a bear, has no detectable dye or coloring and is less than .25 oz. Because they are smaller than what I would normally use in a wax melt dish, I would say you’d need at least 3-4 melts per session per wax warmer. There are 29 melts in the Lemon Verbena bag (which is resealable) which divides out as to approximately 9-10 melting sessions per bag (9-10 days if you prefer).Upon opening each sealed bag, both the Lemon Verbena and Fresh Cotton smell wonderful! The Lemon Verbena is not just a lemon scent, it is a grassy lemon…very fresh! The Fresh Cotton smells just like laundry pulled out of the dryer, so nice! These wax melts smell authentic.Upon placing 3 bears into a warmer they take no time at all to start melting (I am using a 25 watt bulb warmer). Within 30 minutes all bears are melted and there is a lovely aroma of fresh laundry in my living room. The length of time I detect and notice this scent in the room after the bears have melted is about 5 hours. That’s good timing for wax melts which indicates to me that these are a high quality product.Because these wax melts are not only well made but very functionalI feel Happy Wax melts is a high quality product that I would purchase again in different scents!

Very potent wax melts! Fresh & clean scent
This is a good scent pack for bathrooms, laundry rooms, or anywhere else that would be perfect with a fresh, clean scent. The scent throw is impressively strong. One bear is plenty for a bedroom and en suite bathroom. In a larger open concept living room and kitchen, one bear is still good for about two days of scent for a more subtle scent, otherwise adding one bear each day will keep a constant aroma. I honestly think the bears could be bigger, because one doesnât melt down to much wax, and starting with two bears is too strong for my house. But I love the concept, especially since itâs nice to be able to easily mix scents, if desired (these two do smell nice together). I also like adding one bear to the remains of scent-depleted wax from a different brand.

Smells nice, looks cute, love it
I love creating a homey ambiance with scented products in my home such as wax melts, which is why I decided to order this two pack of 4oz wax melts in Vanilla Sandalwood and Cinnamon Chai. First off, I love the design of the wax melts themselves, they are shaped like little bears and they are so cute! Each melt is a pretty good size and I usually use two at a time in my wax melter. They melt pretty quickly and do have a really nice scent to both of them that I ordered, especially the Cinnamon Chai. I do like the scent of the Vanilla Sandalwood, but I wish it was more just notes of vanilla and sandalwood, it has a bit too much vetiver for my usual scent preferences, but it still smells nice. At the current price of about $20 for 8 total ounces of wax melts, I find that to be a pretty decent deal since these smell really good and the scent lasts a decently long time.

Great smelling wax
I always wanted to try this brand and Iâm glad I did. I am a huge wax and candle snob. I buy my wax melts from private sellers as retail hasnât worked for me. I tried these in my bathroom as I didnât think they would be strong enough for my open concept home. The bronzed coconut is fabulous! I was afraid of the patchouli as I didnât think I would like that note but the blend is great ! The coastal tide is super strong! Very summer like. I could smell it from my living room. Great wax!! Lasted all day for both blends.

Overpowering Laundry Scent & Underwhelming Verbena Scent
Ever since I had a kitchen fire, I have used wax melts or wickless candles every day instead of candles with wicks. I really wanted to like these because they’re made in the USA. Unfortunately, I have too many issues with these to really recommend them. To test any new wax melts, I always put just one in the tray for the first day to see how much scent it will release over a 12-hour period. The Fresh Cotton wax melt was actually too overpowering for me for the first 6 hours; at that point, I turned off my wax warmer. But the scent was so strong, it made my LR/DR (560 sq. ft.) smell like fresh laundry for the rest of the day. Although some people like that smell, I avoid it by buying only scent-free detergents. If I had used 2-3 wax melts on the first day (as recommended), I would have been upset! I just didn’t like the scent. By the next day, I could barely smell it, so I tried 1 Lemon Verbena melt (which was why I got this combo); it gave off a pleasant smell for only about 3 hours. After that, I couldn’t smell much of anything for the rest of the day. Now, can we talk about essential oils?! There are zero essential oils listed on either the packaging or Amazon website (or via Rufus’ AI). Although there definitely are lemon verbena essential oils on the market, there is no such thing as “fresh cotton essential oil” or “fresh linen essential oil.” Instead, these oil concoctions are typically made by mixing eucalyptus, lavender, and other essential oils together to produce that “fresh laundry” smell. Personally, I want to know which individual essential oils are in my products. For one thing, I have developed a sensitivity to rosemary, clove, and melaleuca/tea tree oils over my lifetime, so I want to avoid breathing in those chemicals. When any manufacturer refuses to name the essential oils they used in their product, I usually assume they are including at least some synthetic fragrances in their wax melts. Finally, I agree with some other reviewers that these wax melts should not be made in the shape of teddy bear gummies. Although they say these are non-toxic, the small print on the inside bottom label states they are “not made for human consumption.” I just don’t want my grandkids mistaking them for candy.

Half great, half not
I love that these are little bears that melt as they heat up, almost a fun thing to watch them melt away, but the scents are 50/50 on whether you’ll like them or not. Bronzed coconut smells nothing like it’s namesake or scent profile, but the Coastal Tide is spot on and wonderful, that’s why this gets 3 stars. Only half are usable in my mind.
