Very happy teen !
My granddaughter was very happy to receive this journal for Christmas. She start writing in it the same day. It has questions that she can answer encouraging her to write when she can’t think of a subject to write about.

Great Resource for Teens
This journal is extremely well thought out and helpful. I have gone through this myself, and am having my teen use it, but will also recommend this to my clients. I definitely recommend it.

Impressed
I have a teen with anxiety and some other issues. She likes to journal so I got this in hopes of helping her find the happiness in each day. She seems to like it. The interior pages are fantastic. I like how there are things that can quickly be checked or an emoji to be circled making it useful even when you don’t have a lot of time. There is a weekly review too. It helps get thoughts focused on the good and outside of ones self. I think this would be a great journal for any teen or adult. I know for myself I often have a negative view on the world. This helps you think about the positives which improves your overall outlook on life.

Excellent quality journal for people of all ages
The cover of the HappyMe Journal is soft touch and the pages lay flat for writing. The pages are thick, and the cover has a ribbon for saving your page and an elastic band sewn in that keeps it safely closed for transport in a bag.The first section provides a basis for how to use the journal, some background information about happiness, and guided space for self-reflection, routines, and positive habits. The middle section (the majority of the journal) is set up as the week ahead (goals), daily pages with unique challenges (like “I had a great conversation” or “I asked for help” or “I improved at something”), then the week in review (“what went well” and “what could I have done better”). Then last section of the journal has an overall reflection of the journal experience, biographies for the quotes dispersed throughout the journal, and information on further resources. The use of emojis, sparse use of cartoon graphics, and accessible reading level in this journal seem to appeal to teens. However, nowhere on the journal I received did it say the word “Teen” and I think that was a smart move. This journal is thoughtfully written and well made, and I think it would be an excellent resource for people of any age. I would recommend this journal to others.

Beautifully Written
This âHappyMe Teen Journalâ is ideal for any young teen and would make the perfect birthday gift for a 13 year-old. Not only is there plenty of space to journal, but it also teaches a child (or adult) how to journal. Itâs written in an upbeat, chatty manner, and encourages qualities like being grateful, being kind, having a positive attitude, and believing in oneself.I grew up in the days when girls were given diaries, and in reading mine, most of the entries read, âNothing much happened today.â The nice thing about this journal is the quotes and prompts! For example, âProgress is more important than perfectionâ is the header on one page, followed by listing three things that you made progress in. In addition, each page has a column of 9 emojis to help the teens decide how they feel about their day.As an adult, I love reading this journal and wish Iâd had it all those years ago. However, my plan for this one is to give it to my granddaughter who turns 13 in September. Iâm sure she will love it. I highly recommend it to other customers looking for the perfect gift.

Great way to bond
I got this for my tween daughter to help motivate her to start expressing herself better and to also inspire her to start setting some goals. I figured we could work on a page every day or a few a week depending on our schedule. This journal arrived quickly and was securely packaged to prevent damage. I really believe this will be a great tool for the both us and also help us grow closer. I think this will help open up harder conversations that may not always be easy to talk about. Times have changed so drastically since I was young, our kids are getting exposed to so much more at an earlier age due to things like social media. Itâs very important to me that my kids and I always have an open line of communication, especially now thatâs she is entering middle school. I highly suggest getting this journal or something similar and doing it with your pre-teen/teen!

not sure if it’s teen specific
This journal looks great! It is a gift for my 14yr old daughter. The pages at the front are engaging and thought provoking. the emojis for mood are definitely young-people friendly. and the daily pages are simple and straight forward and not too much to do but not too little. The only thing that i questioned is that the version i received does not say anything about teen on the cover or anywhere else, so i am not sure if all versions of this journal are the same or this one really is specifically written/designed for teens. Either way, teen or not, this looks like a great journal for fostering gratitude and self reflection.

Nice mindfulness journal
I ordered this for my daughter who has ASD and ADHD and has problems focusing or ‘seeing the big picture’. She dove right into it, and enjoys having this space to organize her thoughts. I like the prompts given, which not only help her reflect on things day by day, but look at the entire week as a whole and identify what could have gone better or what went according to her plans. It even helps her remember little things like drinking water and getting enough sleep. Minus one star for the price point. $30 at the time of this review seems a little much. I will admit that this journal is one of the best of its kind that I have come across, but similar journals with prompts sell at Five Below for between $3.99 and $10.
