Some good, some not so good
These come with a not so neat looking flower and totally unreal, cheap looking eucalyptus branches. The pampas grass heads are a nice touch and with 10 inch sticks has a look of elegance. The 8 inch sticks that come with these give it a sort of squatty look – with 10 inch sticks these things look much more elegant and I’ve made the change in all 3 of mine. I use eucalyptus oil and the house smells like a trendy little boutique. I would absolutely buy these again. If the things came with 10 inch sticks and didn’t come with a cheap plastic flower and eucalyptus stems I would have given it a 5 star rating.

Perfect Bottles and Reeds
I do not plan to use the pampas grass, eucalyptus and rose (the latter two are quite fake-looking, really). But the bottles are a lovely solid black glass so light does not hit the scent oil I put in (there is no oil with the product, as is clear in the description). And the reeds work fine. I inserted them and turned them about four times in the next 12 hours and they are doing their job. It was very hard to find opaque bottles–this was one of the few choices at a decent price.

Perfect for Reed Diffusers
These bottles are perfect for using as reed diffusers. None of the colors are sheer, so the oils should last longer than in clear bottles. I took a picture of the solid black and the smoked gray bottles. The smokey colored bottles are not too sheer, which is what I need for reed diffusers. They were a bit pricey, but they came with 7″ diffuser sticks (8-pack/bottle), so that absorbs a bit of the cost. Anyway, I love the way they look and the ease with which I filled them using a larger funnel for the carrier oil and alcohol and no funnel at all for the essential oils. Swirl them around for a few seconds (gently), and they are ready for flowers and reeds.

I like the size and shape of the bottles. Nice colors too. AM NOT THRILLED that the name Hossian and logo are on each bottle. Totally unnecessary! Iâm going to see if I can scrape it off with a razor!
