Very nice candles
These candles are great. Great value for the money. I wanted some candles for a 90th birthday cake that would burn slow and fit into a candle ring I bought for the top of the cake. These are lovely. Bought 2 boxes and they come very well packaged and wrapped and they were all the same size and shape. They fit perfect in the holder which is great. I was afraid that being handmade they would not be the size of a regular birthday candle but they are. I wanted something taller and slow burning as we needed to light 90 candles before we brought out the cake and these worked great. These candles are very well made and burn slowly and don’t drip and they smell wonderful. A lot of care went into making them the same size and shape. They were perfect for the cake and I would not hesitate to buy them again.

These are everything advertised. Bonus for me is made in U.S.A. unlike most things these days. Very nice, very good candles. They are so tall, they can be re-used a few times for birthday cakes. Can’t go wrong.

I don’t know why I never bought it before!We have always reused our birthday candles, because we didn’t want to waste. With these candles, about twice the size of a regular birthday candle and soooo durable, I we will be years without needing to buy new ones, and we are a family of 5. But when we’ll do, I hope to buy the same product.I love the smell of it, it’s real bee wax. I love that it doesn’t drip all over the cake.Great product!

Stocky Not Thin & Slender but Still Good Choice
I was eagerly looking forward to using these, but alas, the Amazon delivery was delayed, and the birthday cake could wait no longer. ( We ended up using standard paraffin candles last minute, but I wanted to provide my feedback after getting a chance to see, touch, and feel this product, but not use it. )The Good:- Simple Packaging. The candles are packaged in a simple paper box ( just as seen in the picture ). The box itself came wrapped in shrink paper ( plastic ).- 100% beeswax.- Made in USA.The last two statements were written on the box – hopefully it is true!The candles had a slight scent of honey, and looked and felt like beeswax.I decided not to keep these candles, primarily as they were not thin and slender, as I’d imagined. Rather, they were fairly large in diameter, similar in size to a #2 pencil. It felt stocky. Surely, we would not have been able to fit all the candles we wanted onto the birthday cake! So, something to keep in mind.After using standard paraffin candles and seeing all the wax melt and drip and ooze onto the birthday cake, I decided no more! Next time, I will be looking to purchase natural, eco friendly, good-for-your body, candles far in advance. Something similar to this product, but perhaps more thin and slender.Another note. Don’t let the price deter you! If these candles really burn for close to 30 minutes, you will be getting your money’s worth, even compared to the cheap paraffin version. This package is probably equivalent to two to three times the number of standard candles.Order early! Do your research and buy what feels good for you and your family. Do yourself and the environment a favor by choosing healthier products!

I bought these candles for a birthday cake I made for my fathers 80th birthday. I was very pleased with this purchase. My criteria for the candles was that I needed them to be tall & elegant for a large cake, but thin enough so that I could get all 80 of them on the cake. I also needed something that wouldnât burn down fast or run all over the cake before we got them all lit. These candles didnât disappoint. This is a 9 by 13 inch cake, about 6 inches tall, so you can see how the candle size was perfect. You could push them down further in the cake as well if you want shorter candles, or candles of various lengths. They were tall, slender, easy to push into the cake, easy to light, and they burned for a long time & didnât drip on the cake at all. They also gave off a very light pleasant scent. They arrived securely wrapped with none broken as well. Just be aware, I believe the colour was advertised as gold, but they are more of a beige/yellowish colour, being bees wax, not what a lot of people would call gold, but that wasnât an issue for me. I would definitely buy these again & highly recommend them to anyone else.
