    Beautiful journal
This is a beautiful journal, three questions each and a different three each evening. Good quality paper that doesn’t bleed. It’s relatively thin which is great so not heavy or bulky to carry, the reason it’s thin is because it’s a 90 day journal making it pricey if you want to continue with it. I would recommend this product to someone wanting to start a gratitude/self awareness practice. Quick and easy to use.

Really attractive gift book, but overpriced at $30, and not a full year journal
I ordered this through the Vine program out of curiosity, thinking I could use it, or a family member who already journals might want it. It’s really an attractive hard-cover gift book. However, I would not spend $30 for it. The product page headline refers to a “daily gratitude journal 2024” but it is not a yearlong journal. It’s 90 days so if you really wished to journal daily, you’d need to buy four of these every year. There are actually six questions, three for morning and three for afternoon. They’re valid questions that can help anyone work on prioritizing what is important in life. The same 6 questions are repeated every day for 90 days. The author elaborates on how to work at self-improvement, but I found that of limited use. There are examples of completed journal entries, as well.If you know someone who has decided to make major changes in their life to be happier and healthier, this would be an appropriate gift to honor their goal and encourage their intentions. If money is an issue for them, you could alternatively get them some lined notebooks for writing, and have enough left over to take them out for a meal.

    It’s a nice book
It’s therapeutic writing to your self, and trying to help yourself be better. I really like the way the book is laid out, and I really like the texture of the cover.

    It’s literally a journal of the 3 same questions…
I was really disappointed that the journal is literally just the 3 same questions over and over again. I get it, repetition is key. However, I don’t need a $30 journal to answer these questions. Better off writing them down in my remarkable or buy a Moleskin notebook and answering daily. Also, this is only a months worth of journaling, so unless you want to purchase a new one every month I find it cost prohibitive to keep using long term.

    Durable and Builds Good Habits
This journal is very well made. I like the thickness of the pages and how it is bound. The questions are repetitive but I think that’s how it’s supposed to be. It’s just to help you get the main focus of your day in. I can honestly say sometimes I’ve had way more that I wanted to write about something that happened to me but because there wasn’t a prompt for anything to do with it I ended up using a different journal that day. This is for just certain things. It’s nice though and would make a great gift for anyone who wants to start journaling.

    Great for forming a habit.
I wasn’t familiar with Dr. Rangan Chatterjee prior to this, but was familiar with small daily journaling and like the stoic idea of following up in your journal at the end of the day. I have a really hard time sticking to things, wanted to journal daily, felt like this might be a good launching point. I did fall off a couple of times, but in the end I’ve been able to stick with it. I like the daily gratitude evaluation (without extreme repetition), and how straight forward the question prompts are. I don’t have to overthink it, just try to figure out what I really need and want to do, and then see if I managed to do the things at the end of the day, and if not, how can that go better?Really easy to get started, not much time commitment, and seems poised to really help set some groundwork for longer term and more lofty changes. Physically the book is a nice quality, linen cover feels comfortable but it’s visually subdued enough to not attract unwanted attention. Paper quality is fine for what this is, not the best (definitely not breaking out the fountain pens) but perfectly serviceable with gel pens. The price feels a touch high to me for a kind of guided notebook, but not bad – within a range I would expect. Worth a shot if you’re struggling for a daily routine but really want it.

    Slim Prompted Journal
What a neat approach to journaling the designers of this book must be! Each page has questions to answer. The beginning of the book offer things to think about which lead one to living with more purpose. Once in the areas where you write, the questions are nice because they cause one to think in more detail so writing can be unique each day. For each day, there are three questions to answer in the morning and then 3 more to answer in the evening. The journaling is meant to increase self-esteem, reduce anxiety and provide a person with a feeling of being in personal control, even if the rest of the world feels and looks like chaos. The hard bound book is slim but packs a real punch towards knowing oneself better with each new day. The paper is high quality, and cream colored. The weight of the paper is very nice, making the use of a pen feeling comfortable and looping good. This book is small enough to fit into a purse or a backpack. That makes it versatile and easy to always have on hand. If you want a journal for someone who says they either cannot journal or they never knew what to write, this is a great choice! I love this because it is so portable and offers such an easy way to organize one’s thoughts.
