Unexpectedly surprised at how much I love this perfume!
I honestly never write a review but THIS perfume is worth the praise and effort. The price for the size of the bottle was such a pleasant surprise. I’ll admit when I first applied it, I was underwhelmed as if I’d smelled the scent before but once it sat and warmed up on my skin for about 20 min, my mind completely changed about my initial doubts. I’m no expert about fragrance notes but it is such a sweet, warm, feminine, sexy, without being overpowering scent. The vaporizer releases softly and the longevity lasts about 6 hrs for me. I’ll spray some on my skin and I can still smell the aroma of it on my clothes the next day. I’m honestly here for it and I’ll definitely be purchasing another bottle.

Burberry Goddess dupe
Burberry Goddess and Mon Guerlain are my all time favorite fragrances. This is an exact dupe of Burberry Goddess. The initial spray is slightly more alcoholic, but I imagine once this perfume sits for a few weeks, it’ll be impossible to tell the difference. Best dupe of Goddess that I’ve tried. And obviously, similar to Mon Guerlain as well.For those who haven’t smelled Burberry Goddess, it is a warm vanilla, lavender fragrance. The notes listed for Athena are completely different and hard to find when this is so clearly a lavender vanilla. It’s floral, and fresh, with a sweet and smooth vanilla that becomes more pronounced with the dry down. At $20/100ml to Goddess’ $168/100ml, you cannot beat this dupe.

Beautiful Scent
If you are looking for a good goddess dupe, this is about 95% the DNA. It is definitely not as lavender heavy as goddess and dries down, sweeter on my skin. It is truly a beautiful light airy vanilla-scent. I also own goddess and Angham and in my opinion for the price this is an absolutely worth every penny. I would say Angham and Athena are basically the same exact copies of each other. I get about 2 to 3 hours of longevity, projection is maybe 2 to 3 feet but honestly for the price you can’t go wrong! The bottle is gorgeous… And I actually prefer the sprayer on this to all of the others. The first day I wore this I had some lady follow me and asked me what I was wearing. I had to write it down for her. It’s beautiful!

Wait for the drydown
I bought this because I heard it was a dupe for Burberry Goddess. When I sprayed it, I thought it was awful and I had made a mistake. All I could smell was topnotes of unidentifiable aldehydes, like something I had smelled in an antique bottle from my grandmother’s mirrored perfume tray. I set it aside and forgot about it. The next day I pulled my robe from the hook to put it in the laundry and I smelled this perfume I’d gotten on it. It was the exact smell of Goddess, the lavender, the vanilla! It had dried down to everything I wanted and was projecting that scent the next day!This one screeches from the bottle like a mythological harpy that will claw your eyes out. But if you can wait, it settles to something soft and absolutely beautiful. I am pleased with this fragrance!
