This journal is the most beautiful book I have ever seen . It looks like I spent a lot of money on it . But yâall saw the price . I ordered it for my grandchild that was graduating high school . She loves old things . There was a small glitch in the day they said it would arrive . Well it was a gift and I needed it in a few days. So I ordered another one because they said it would be there quicker than the first one I bought . Well I got both of them in plenty of time for the celebration . I opened it and there was no way I was sending it back , I had to keep one for me ! There are 200 pages , it is heavy in your hand . The way the leather strap wraps around it is wonderful . Itâs like wrapping all your thoughts inside . The pages are thick and look old with rough edges . Donât hesitate in buying this book . Quick note : when she opened her gifts and cards . She waited until last to open mine . I had it wrapped in paper bag and twine . She smiled and opened it slowly , and when she took it out of the paper She , and the whole room said , oooh OMG ! that is beautiful , my other granddaughter leaned over to me and said grandma ,,, I want one . On the other side of me was . Where did you get that ? How much did you pay for it ? And everyone in the room wanted one . Especially when they saw the $100. Bills inside . Ha ha . But if you canât afford to put money in it , Still Absolutely buy it . It looks like you spent a lot of money on it . And I think itâs a great graduation ð©ð¼âð gift . Great for anyone . Really impressed with this magnificent journal
I love the leather cover, and the soft handmade paper. The journal came with a little care booklet and a note about who actually handmade my journal (see photo). I think it is really cool to support individual artisans and craftspeople (in my case, Manju made mine) and also get a great journal for a good price. I plan to use my journal for recording local botany, and this journal is perfect, with plenty of beautiful pages.

This journal is so beautiful. The leather is crafted with much care and the deckled antique pages are exactly as described. Iâm creating a Genealogy journal with this and it will be passed on to my daughter one day. I would order from this company again.

Great quality and feels other worldly
I got 2 journals because I loved the look and feel of these. If youâre into journaling and you want something looks and feels fantasy-like or from old times, then these are for you. Excellent quality and the pages are not your normal pages. Make sure to use a high quality pen for these types of pages. Theyâre akin to parchment paper, not loose leaf. This is almost the type of journal you find in an old study or a past great adventurers backpack. Wonderful leather bound journals.

Missing bookmark
The packaging wastopnotch but it was missing the chokra/tree of life bookmark. I’d like them to just send the bookmark instead of a full return. The journal is thick, the pleather smells funny. But otherwise it’s pretty cool, definitely for use by a teenager to adult

The recycled paper is awesome to write ok with a fountain pen. I love writing in this. The smell though. I’m not sure if it’s a perfume or cleaning agent maybe the the leather it’s self. It’s not bad by anymeans but it’s strong and long exposure to it gives me a solid head ache. But I’m not complaining. It’s well put together
