Superfood
Wow, what a nutrient powerhouse! So many vitamins, minerals, and an excellent source of plant based protein. They don’t have as much fiber as flax, but they make up for it in protein and other nutrients. Plus they have a much more mild flavor. The taste is mellow and nutty. Similar in taste to sunflower seeds. They have slightly less omega 3s than chia, but it is still a good source . They also have a much softer texture than chia seeds. You don’t feel like you are biting into a mouth full of seeds. I use them for a protein boost in smoothies. I also sneak them into my picky kids foods whenever I can. I’m not surprised this superfood comes from a hemp plant. I would recommend.
