So cool
I absolutely love this! The scent is so calming and really helps me relax after a long day. When melted, the oil is ultra-moisturizing but somehow not greasy at allâit absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling super soft. I was a little skeptical at first, but it really does work as both a candle and a hydrating body oil. The burn time is great, and a little goes a long way, so it lasts longer than I expected. Definitely a must-have for self-care nights!

Great for date night
This candle was great for our trip away from baby girl. I used the melted wax to give papa a back massage and it worked great. Even right after burning, the wax wasnât too hot once applied to the skin. Rubs in so well and actually moisturizes the skin. It smells great, too.

Minimal scent
Makes an even burn, a bit of a greasy feel, and the spout helps deter undesired/ uncontrolled drip. I had it burning for over 5 hours one day and the candle and container held up. I did notice that the cup got quite a bit sooty once the wax level is below the rim. When itâs above the rim it is very minimal soot mixing with the wax, with regular trimming. If you donât trim your candle wicks youâll have bits in your candle whether or not youâre using the hot wax. The scent is very unassuming, not overwhelming at all. In the end itâs a bit small for the price of $33.

The scent is incredible and the oil absorbs well in to the skin
Just opening the box releases an incredible scent that is very inviting. At first we were very skeptical about this: Would the hot wax burn the skin? Would it become just a waxy mess? The instructions advise you to burn the candle long enough to allow a pool of oil from the melted wax to appear, then blow out the candle, allow it to cool briefly and then pour it in to your hands. I did this and it works great. Itâs not too hot to touch, in fact it feels just pleasantly warm and stays as a nice liquid in the hands. This sounds odd, but the best way I can describe the way the oil feels is to say that it isnât âtoo oilyâ. Itâs pleasant to rub in to the skin and stays slick enough that you can massage the skin well while rubbing it in, but isnât excessively slick like a lubricant or some massage oils. You can still operate your hands and still massage the area without slipping around. The scent remains very pleasant yet not overpowering as youâre rubbing it in to the skin and it lasts long so you can continue to massage the area as long as you want without needing to reapply. It seems to absorb nicely in to the skin without flaking or otherwise creating unpleasant textures on the skin.The candle looks and burns great, and the spout on the side allows good control over how much liquid to pour out. A wonderful gift that you both can enjoy.

Eucalyptus runs in our family
Gotta love a little Eucalyptus, my family loves this smell. Brought this candle to burn it during the Christmas activities to try my belt to keep everyone calm and not frantic like every other year. Honestly, It worked. The smell isn’t overwhelming but is noticeable to a degree. Clearly this is meant more for the oil, but it works as a candle just fine. Easy to burn and use, no complaints.

Can’t appreciate the scent…
I use eucalyptus in my home all winter long, as it keeps the nasal passages open. I figured this would be a good one to have around, to massage into the skin when congestion hits. But I just can’t get used to this scent! It’s a different eucalyptus than I’m used to, it smells overpowering. I have bunches of eucalyptus leaves around for steamer showers, and have used the same high quality EO company for years, and this smells nothing like either. The concept is a great idea, but I’m unsure if I can use it with the scent it gives.

A little bit goes a LOOONG way
This candle smells nice and the oil feels nice. No, it doesn’t feel hot when you put it on, providing you pour it into your hands first. Be carful when using it because a little bit goes a long way and if you spill any, when it “dries” it will revert to wax on your bed or couch or wherever you use it and possibly leave an oil stain. But, it feels so good and the scent is relaxing.
