Well made and thoughtful prompts
I like that it doesn’t have dates preprinted, so we can use them as often or as infrequently as we like. Made a good gift for teen.

A true game-changer – I wish I could give it more stars!
This journal offers a 3-month journey to guide people through anxiety management. It includes prompts about anxiety, a dream journal, coloring pages, trackers to monitor progress, a daily entry for reflection, and a weekly space for recording insights.Like many other people, I have struggled with anxiety for years. I have sought many different therapies and self-care strategies. While many fell by the wayside, I can confidently say that this beautiful journal is truly a game-changer.I have tried journaling many times and lost interest. It is hard to stay motivated when you have a blank journal or notebook, but this journal keeps you on task and makes you want to keep working on it daily. If you know someone who has also struggled with that, this journal will help them stay on track. My favorite part is the inclusion of the coloring pages. I had never seen a journal featuring them, which was an exciting bonus. I love coloring and find it relieves stress. I like that when I am journaling, I can just turn to a coloring page and take a break from writing if I get overwhelmed or emotional, and then I can return to journaling or doing one of the trackers once I feel a little calmer. Each coloring page has an inspirational, uplifting quote, which is nice. I often find myself smiling as I color! This journal uses cognitive behavior therapy, which is the standard way to treat both anxiety and depression. I like getting to do this on my own, either between sessions with my therapist or as my own “homework” immediately after my session if my therapist does not assign me any. The thing that has been most helpful for me in this aspect is identifying triggers, as I’ve often seen my anxiety as this sort of great big blur of fear; now I see there is often a clear cause-and-effect relationship.I also like the chance to reflect and think about what I’m grateful for. It’s nice to take a moment to think about my wins and what’s good in my life rather than always trying to identify what’s causing a problem and what I can do to fix it. This journal is a way to accentuate the positive, which is something we all should do.I like the size of this journal as it is easy for me to slip into a tote bag or purse. I am pleased with the linen fabric as well. The paper seems nice. I have been able to use highlighters without them bleeding through, and my coloring markers do not either, which is one of my pet peeves, so that makes me happy. It has an inner pocket so I can fold the handout I get at my weekly support group and save it in my journal and it’s great that the elastic band keeps it all secure.Lastly, I cannot tell you how thrilled I was that the cover doesn’t mention what it is. I am so grateful that the maker thought about how they need to “maintain privacy” and didn’t mention “worry” or “anxiety.” This shows that they thought about their end user and wanted them to be confident and comfortable using the journal in public so that they could use it wherever and whenever they wanted without fear of judgment. The simple truth is anyone could benefit from this journal. I wholeheartedly recommend it. This little book has the potential to be life-changing. I genuinely hope that others reading this will buy it for themselves or as a gift for others, as it will be the best 15 bucks you have ever spent!
