    Highly recommend-not sure about gifts
    This journal is beautiful. The author incorporated so many details, including page marker ribbons, a pen holder, over 100 undated (which removes the frustration if you miss a couple of days) guided self-reflection pages, a weekly reflection section, a note taking section at the end, and some inspirational quotes throughout. There is also a little pocket on the inside cover with a card containing the 3-step safety sequence and a table of contents (I love a table of contents).Beyond the aesthetics, the book is loaded with clear, concise, easy to understand explanations of resilience, the nervous system, the zone of resilience, the safety sequence, and dysregulation. It is well researched.I waffled between a 4 or 5 rating for one reason. I work with young adults and have been searching for a journal I could use as a gift for my clients. Unfortunately, the book sleeve, as well as the inside cover says, “A mental health journal”. To be honest, I believe most of them would find this somewhat off-putting. Otherwise, this ticks all the boxes of what I was looking for, so I’ll need to give it some thought. Not knowing much about the publishing world, I suspect that by adding it, they are able to include it on mental health “lists”, separating it from a general journal.That said, what pushed the rating to a 5 were the generous video links she shared as “bonus resources” for purchasing the book.

    Nice Basic Starter Journal
    This mental health journal offers a helpful set of prompts for self-care and anxiety relief. I like the blue cover. It is compact. While I appreciate the thought behind the prompts and find them useful reminders to focus on self-care, I was hoping for more variety. The prompts are good, but they are very similar day after day, and the week-to-week structure doesn’t change much. I was expecting a bit more diversity in the prompts, perhaps tailored to different moods or challenges, or a rotating weekly focus. If you’re looking for a very basic journal with consistent reminders for self-care, this could be a good starting point. However, if you prefer a journal with more varied prompts and a more dynamic structure, you might want to consider other options.

    This journal is great! The quality is top-notch. Everything from the sturdy cover to the thick pages feels well-made and durable.     This journal is 10/10. The quality of the book is better than I was expecting and I’ve just started working through the prompts but I’ve learned so much already. It does a great job of putting into words/making sense of my body’s reaction to things, things I’ve tried understanding before and just didn’t. Highly recommend!

    This journal is beautiful, well made, and very informative and helpful. It includes almost 100 pages of informative and actionable information to help you understand principles of emotional regulation and resilience, and then guides you through daily actions to apply those principles and make real progress in your mental health. It’s clear that a lot of thought and intention went into creating this journal. Definitely worth purchasing, I fully recommend!

    BEST journal ever … tranformational
    This is the kind of tool you should not walk but RUN to get . First journal i have seen ( and have used dozens over my lifetime ) that actually teaches something super substantial and life changing. Put this stuff into practice for 90 days ? And trust me life will change. These techniques have literally saved me in a crisis time . I Am ordering many more and giving them as gifts. The coach Leah Davidson is renowned in her field and a specialist in Resilience and brains and has a lot of experience in her specialties . This is like nothing else out there . And her programs and community site and podcasts are also brilliant. Do yourself a favor and buy many of these journals for yourself and the people whos mental health and well being matter to you

    I love this beautiful journal! I was initially impressed by how much information and guidance is embedded in these pages. I was very glad to find the information easily digestible and the ease of being able to work through the different reflections at my own pace. Having unmarked days was an awesome feature, so I don’t feel the guilt if I miss a day – but with this layout it’s been so hard to forget one! One of my personal favourites is being prompted to reflect daily on my sensations, emotions and thoughts then go through how I supported myself (which is huge for discovering what truly works for me)! Would definitely recommend this journal to everyone 🙂

Through the exercises I discovered what my triggers were, how they manifest in my body and how to manage overwhelming situations. The 90 day tracking program helped me build good habits and widen my window of tolerance.I also bought this journal for a friend who was going through a stressful time (burnt out).
