The most amazing facial lotion ever!!!
This is the first Amazon review I have written. I felt compelled to write this review because of my desire to help others. I must admit that I was extremely skeptical of this lotion but took the plunge and went ahead and purchased it. I have been using Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel-cream fragrance free for several years now and it always worked well for me. Unfortunately, Neutrogena recently changed their formula and it caused me to break out. I checked their new ingredients and found that they have added pore clogging substances. What a shame and how incredibly deceptive that they are still touting their products as noncomedogenic. In a desperate attempt to find a worthy alternative- I tried CeraVe, Vanicream and Cetaphil. All of them destroyed my skin’s moisture barrier….they left my skin excessively dry, irritated and itchy.I have always had sensitive, acne-prone skin since my teen years. I am now three years post-menopausal and my skin has now become hypersensitive. This is a result of hormonal disturbances causing dryness, inability to retain moisture, thinning skin, etc. I came across Intoxicated while doing a search on Amazon – what caught my attention right away was the short ingredient list and the elimination of all the unhealthy substances that cause a multitude of skin issues. I checked all of the ingredients in Intoxicated and all of them are noncomedogenic and excellent for skin health. This company seems very honest and passionate about their products and helping others.This lotion is exceptional on all levels and is by far the most incredible product I have ever used on my face/skin. This lotion is gentle, nourishing, and doesn’t leave any tacky/sticky residue whatsoever. The lotion is light and almost gel-like. It soaks into skin immediately and it’s so soothing and refreshing. I love the way it makes my skin feel….healthy, clean and hydrated. It is free of sulfates, parabens, dyes, PEG’s, and toxins. It comes in a 10 oz pump bottle so you really get your money’s worth. I use this lotion on my face and neck in the morning and at night and it only takes two pumps each application to get the job done. The pump is fitted with a plastic collar before shipping to prevent product waste. The little collar comes off easily and can be reused again and again when traveling which is super smart and thoughtful. While this lotion is intended for sensitive skin- it can be used on all skin types. It is allergist formulated and derm approved. It is lightweight, fast-absorbing and is infused with ceramides, hyaluronic acid arginine, and glycolipids for instant hydration. It can be used for both face and body – it’s totally universal in that manner. After each wash my face feels silky smooth and nourished- never stripped. It’s almost as if the lotion just keeps working and hydrating the skin even after you wash it off. It’s absolutely amazing and I am beyond grateful for finding this company and their fantastic products. Intoxicated is pure magic and a blessing in disguise. I can’t wait to try their cleanser! Having written all of the above…I do understand that everyone’s skin is unique and reacts differently to products. If you suffer from dry, ultra sensitive, acne-prone skin like I do…then please give this product a try. I truly do hope that it works for you. This lotion literally saved my skin’s health.

I have sensitive, reactive skin and do appreciate that it’s a very simplistic moisturizer geared for my skin type. However it just didn’t work for me personally but not to say it was bad. I liked that it was fragrance free and did not break me out. What I couldn’t get with was it was very silicone (Dimethicone) based so it felt quite heavy and thick and just kind of sat on top of my skin but not really penetrating and actually hydrating/moisturizing it but instead making my skin feel smothered and sticky. Also lots of pilling. Im not really a fan of silicones in products but I will tolerate them at lower percentages whenever the moisturizer feels more light and hydrating.

FINALLY A GOOD OPTION
Untoxicated has become my moisturizer of choice. I’ve consistently faced challenges in finding a moisturizer that not only nourishes my skin but leaves me feeling light and confident in the ingredients. Untoxicated manages to eliminate all the unwanted elements, finally offering a moisturizer that delivers performance and leaves me feeling positive about my skincare routine.

Fragrance Free
Love this product line! I keep a bottle at kitchen and bathroom sinks so I remember to moisturize after washing my hands. It was easy to peel the label off the bottles…I would rather have a plain white bottle instead of the harsh looking graphics on the label. Very happy that Untoxicated products are not tested on animals.
