Iâm loving my new journal! The cover feels like quality and the pages are nice and thick. I can tell the creator spent a lot of time and love into creating this book to help others. First, I love the color and simple elegance of this journal. The blue/green shade is just gorgeous.Typically, I have owned journals with empty pages and often I donât know where to start or how to articulate what Iâm feeling. The prompts in this journal are so helpful and make reflection easy. Very engaging guided journal
As someone who has used many journals, I specifically appreciated this one because of the daily guided prompts. If you arenât sure where to start, it helps you know what questions to ask yourself that help name how you are feeling or what you are needing to process that day. Itâs a thoughtful, gentle, helpful guide that has been so useful in controlling my anxiety as well as helping on those days where Iâm just feeling âoffâ. Highly recommend!

Good Construction. Overall Very Good… (with a few blunders…)
This Journal is well constructed with quality paper and beautiful print. There are daily, weekly, and monthly pages. The unique differentiator with the daily spread, in this journal, is the set of mindfulness or breath work exercises. A series of questions follows that have you run through a CBT style exercise in having you identify what you are feeling, explore that feeling, and how you might feel better. This is a useful exercise in situations where emotions are overwhelming or hindering you in some way, but not as valuable as a general daily practice (following a series of exercises designed to help you into a relaxed state).The biggest blunder is that after having you run through calming mindfulness/breathing exercises, become self aware, take a positive spin on things, give gratitude – the entry closes by inviting you to “Mind Purge”. That is, call to mind and write out all the crap that is bothering you – and therefore bringing it all to the forefront of mind.. !! To me, this is literally undoing everything the exercises you just completed are designed to do. If a “mind purge” is even necessary, it might be better placed at the beginning, and more than one single line provided for it!The weekly reviews have you rank your experience of 8 emotional states, on a scale of 1-10. Having not ranked these on a daily basis, it’s kind of hard to recall back the past 7 days the degree to which each emotion was experienced(?).There are monthly reviews too – 6 simple questions about your high/low, breakthroughs, improvements, goals for next month. Speaking of setting a goal for the upcoming month, it would have been nice to have had the same opportunity at the start of the journal. vs. straight into daily reviews.Overall, this journal definitely has value and is worth trying out, but just do it mindfully!

Easy to use and effective
Loved it! Iâm new to mental health journaling and journaling in general. I found the prompts to be effective in assisting me to organize my feelings and positively make change. There was enough variety to keep it fresh, but also had a routine rhythm. I would recommend it!
