Thin liquid
I love this castor oil. Itâs not as thick as others so it glides nicely on my face and neck. Iâve reordered 4 times. My dark spots have faded and my eyelashes are longer and thicker. I cannot say enough good things.

Inexpensive skin care
Clear and easy to spread, not too thick or runny. I used this for face and it worked good. I didn’t get any breakouts from this and it does work as a moisturizer making skin quality look more lively and feeling softer after it settles. Only downside is the scent is just odd, not bad I just don’t have a word for it. This isn’t a product fault so much as it’s just how castor oil is. Still better off without artificial “fragrances”.

Thinner viscosity makes it easy to use!
I love the thinner viscosity of this Aliver Jamaican Black Castor Oil. It is easy to apply and move around achieving even coverage. It’s perfect for daytime use, on nails, and on hair. There is a faint scent and it’s not overpowering, nor does it smell like smoke to me. Packaging and bottle state that it’s 100% pure and natural, cold-pressed therapeutic grade, and that it’s cruelty-free and vegan. It does NOT state that it’s organic or hexane free. I would love to know the answer to this. Country of origin in listing is China.

I ordered the Black Castor oil at my wifeâs insistence, who, after trying it, went on about how soft and luxurious it made her skin feel. She commented that it wasnât particularity oily and was readily absorbed into her skin.I was surprised by her experience, since the castor oil Iâve ordered in the past, although not Black Castor oil, was oily and had a fairly thick viscosity, and was much different in effect than she was describing. Castor oil has a myriad of uses in natural medicine, most often in poultices and salves. I couldnât imagine the castor oil I recall, being useful as a skin cosmetic, unless the user wanted to end up with an oily mess everywhere. I decided to see what she was talking about.Yea, Black Castor Oil is an entirely different beast than the lighter toned castor oil I used to order in the 16 oz bottle. And she wasnât fooling, it is quickly absorbed right into the skin. It provides a healthy, moisturizing sheen without any oily residue. One of the richest, least oily âoilsâ either of us has experienced. It has a very low viscosity and is very light, almost like nose oil.My wife mixes a slurry using a few drops of the Black Castor oil along with baking soda that she then rubs onto her face, apparently as an exfoliating moisturizer. After she uses the slurry, her skin does have a healthy, moist glow to it.What effect the Black Castor Oil will have in terms of hair and nail growth only time will tell, but it does have an obvious moisturizing result. My wife is sold on it, and frankly, so am I, much to my surprise. I would never have guessed there to be such a large difference in castor oil varieties.The Castor Oil is supplied with a couple of brush applicators for use on eyebrows, eye lashes and the like.

Great value! Effective. Nice thick quality castor oil. Love that it has two different applicators for ease of application. I personally prefer the eyeliner brush for my eye lashes and the mascara wand for my eyebrows.
