Warms up sort of, but it’s a disappointment
I ordered this for an upcoming bath remodel. We live in a state where it gets pretty darn cold in the winter, and I thought a warm towel to greet us as we step out of the shower would be a nice little luxury. For the fairly high price of this unit, I was hopeful that it would deliver.Alas, it doesn’t.This towel warmer arrived fairly well packaged, with foam and corner protectors. After opening it up, I immediately plugged it into try it out out. The control panel (really just two virtual buttons–one for timer and one for temperature) are sort of hard to spot–when they aren’t lit up, they just blend in with the black tubing–so it’s not entirely intuitive on how to use this. After being plugged in and turned on for about an hour, with the temperature setting at its highest setting of 155 degrees, there is no way that this warmer came even close to that. At best it was about 100 degrees. And this is inside a house where the temp was about 68-69 degrees. So, it would warm up a towel, but nowhere near the piping hot temperature that the unit’s specs would suggest is possible.Altering the temperature setting didn’t seem to actually change the temperature that the warmer reaches, so maybe there’s something wrong with the controller and it’s just achieving the lowest temperature of 115 degrees (but even that I know it wasn’t getting to). I could comfortably place my hand on the heated bars and it felt more like grabbing a warm person’s arm and it wasn’t nearly as hot as the 120 degree water that comes out of our faucet or say the temperature of warm dishes coming out of the dishwasher as soon as the wash cycle ends.I also noticed that the top bars seemed to heat up more than the lower bars. The lowest of bars barely warmed up at all.Lastly, there’s a silver rivet on the back side of the warmer, and there’s a sticker next to it with the universal symbol for earth ground on it, but there’s no indication as to why its there, what we as end-users are supposed to do with it, etc. The plug is a standard three prong grounded plug, so I’m sort of baffled why there is an additional ground point on the warmer. I will say that this unit purports to be UL listed, which if that is the case, then that’s a good (perhaps only) selling point on this, since I firmly believe that any line-voltage powered devices in the home should be certified by an independent authority like UL or ETL.I wish that this had an option for hardwiring it, since the coiled power cord is a bit big/bulky and visually distracting.Overall, at this price point, I expected far more. The appearance is nice, but the functionality doesn’t come close to delivering on the promised performance. Perhaps I got a dud, but if this is representative of the actual performance, I don’t think many people would be satisfied. I’m glad I didn’t actually install this before testing it out, because I would be bummed at having to patch the wall when I uninstalled this towel warmer.

I like this better than the container type
This heated towel rack with built-in timer is nice quality, well made, and better than the container type towel warmer (since it leaves less of a footprint). My husband was able to assemble/install this easily with the included instructions and hardware. We (especially me) love getting out of the shower and/or bath and being able to grab a nice warm towel, especially during those bitter cold winter months. It has a built-in timer, temperature control, waterproof, and heats up fast (around 15 minutes).

Warm Towels & More, Huge Size, Easy to Use
I didn’t realize how useful a towel warming rack could be. First of all, this is a huge one, and a good value for the size, as I compared when shopping around with other brands. Many cost much more for this size, and work in a comparable manner. It’s modern, looks clean, minimalist, and attractive, with many rungs to provide plenty of space for multiple towels and garments. It only takes about 15 minutes to fully warm up and continues to keep your towels warm. It’s easy to operate, and does double or triple duty. Not only does it warm towels for when you get out of the shower or a sauna or the pool. But you can dry your towels faster on this after drying off or when they get wet for any reason, to prevent a musty smell building up or bacterial growth so I think it’s way more sanitary. Also, you can warm your undergarments, robe, pajamas, anything you want to be toasty, and more cozy and comfortable, when you put them on.

Couldn’t Wait To Mount It!
Yep, I was that person! I opened the box, propped the warmer on the back of the toilet and plugged it in! It took right off. Not one to waste an opportunity, I hopped in the shower. It’s frosty outside, but I stepped out of my shower into warm towels and robe. This Popfly heated towel rack will be installed permanently ASAP and this is going to up my bathroom game. I’m going to need one for the guest bath now.If you live in a cold region – splurge. You deserve toasty towels out of the shower. It’s so easy to use. The mounting directions look pretty straight forward. The boy says he’ll have the warmer installed in no time. That’s about as big of a blessing I can give it. He’s not giving me any guff about being a bougie add, he would if it was difficult. Solid 25 out of 10 stars POPFLY! Keep me warm!

Sleek and Functional.
The POPFLY Heated Towel Rack is a total game-changer for our bathroom! Itâs a simple upgrade, but it makes a huge difference, especially during the winter months. Thereâs nothing better than stepping out of the shower to a fresh, warm towel; it really adds a touch of luxury to everyday life. The smart touch screen controls are super convenient, allowing you to easily set the timer and adjust the temperature to your preference. The fact that it heats up in just 15 minutes is fantastic. Plus, the overheat protection and waterproof rating give us peace of mind for safe use in the bathroom. My husband mentioned that it was easy to install, and the wall-mounted design keeps the floor space clear, which is great for smaller bathrooms. The plug-in option makes setup hassle-free, too. Itâs functional, sleek, and adds a modern vibe to the space. If youâre looking for a little luxury or just want to make winter mornings more comfortable, this towel rack is absolutely worth it.
