It works! It WORKS!! What a great little appliance for my office!
My co-workers do not clean up after themselves and the community microwave is always a mess. I found myself literally cleaning up after others anytime I wanted to use the microwave. Since I’m such a picky person about my food, I decided to purchase one of these portable ovens. I decided on this one because of the great reviews. I used it for the first time today and it heated up a frozen dinner in about 2 hours. I’m going to check the internal temperature of raw meat tonight to see how hot it gets after 2 hours and update this review according to my findings. The frozen meal today was hot enough to burn my mouth (I’m guessing between 160 and 170 degrees). I cooked raw chicken from frozen in an aluminum pan. Cooked for 2 hours and a meat thermometer showed 179 degrees. I cooked lunch the next day – a Stouffers turkey & mashed potato frozen mean. I started it at 9:00 a.m. and checked the temperature at 10:30 a.m. and it was 174 degrees. I let it cook until 11:45 a.m. and the internal temperature of the meal was 178 degrees. Perfect! And the meal was evenly heated and cooked through and through. It was moist and delicious! BTW, I cooked it right inside the box the meal came in!!The actual unit is great! It’s very easy to use; it’s lightweight and can double as a temporary lunchbox holding cold food until you’re ready to heat it. I used the gel ice packs in it and then simply took them out when I was ready to heat my frozen meal. Plug it in at your desk and while you’re working, it’s cooking and ready for you when you get hungry at lunch time.You can’t go wrong with this. So easy to use and I am so happy that I do not have to use that ridiculously grimy and germ-ridden microwave anymore!

Awesome food re-heating option
Got this for dad, I use 1 myself almost daily. Perfect for pre-made meals or leftovers and way better than microwave to re-heat. Won’t burn food, heats up quickly and holds just right temp. Better than a crock for heating small items and takes up little space. Low enough power that I use with inverter in truck when traveling.

These types of portable mini ovens made me initially VERY skeptical. How could you have a mini oven that can heat up — not to mention, COOK — food? I was tired of going out to eat at work as the cost would QUICKLY add up. So, I decided to give one of these mini ovens a try for two reasons:1. Keep food warm while traveling (car ride or hotel room)2. Heat/Cook food from scratch at work (to cut down on meal prepping the night before)PROS- Heats food to 239F in a variety of containers, then keeps it at a warm temperature (149F – 239F): glass (my preferred way), plastic, paper (surprisingly, it does not burn)- Can COOK food from scratch within 2-4 hours (veggies, beef ribs, salmon)- Can be used while DRIVING by connecting it to an Inverter (can be bought for $10) and then to the car’s cigarette lighter port— Note: you should not cook while the car is not running as it can severely drain your battery- Surprisingly does not smell up the work area (coworker in the next cubicle hates the smell of fish and had no idea salmon was cooking)- Easy to keep clean (I have a piece of aluminum sheet separating the heating plate and the food container)- Food has stayed moist, though cooking for too long can make your chicken or salmon a bit mushy or slightly dry- Can heat up/cook frozen items (Note: Chicken Pot Pie isn’t recommended to be cooked with this oven. Instead, cook it in the microwave or oven appliance first, then use this oven to heat it up another time)- The slow cooking keeps the nutrients contained within the cooking container- Portable and small- Front pouch to hold utensils- Carry strapCONS- Can take some time to heat up food (at least 1 hour)TIPS- FDA states that cooked food should be kept warm at 140F or warmer- Toast bread in the oven without covering its food container. It comes out quite toasty- If cooking chicken, it’s best to cut it up into smaller sizes/cubes to ensure safe, even cooking- To keep heating plate clean, I cover it with some aluminum foilOverall, this is a decently good product that has saved me a LOT of money and time being able to make meals (from raw to fully edible) at work.
