Prayer journal with a plus
This is an attractive journal with good content. The cover looks textured, but it’s smooth, with the front bearing a silver-embossed title “Peace in Christ.” The color is a slightly lighter blue than what some of the Amazon pictures show. I also got the same journal with a light green cover. It appears to be well-made and the binding appears strong. There is a matching ribbon bookmark glued into the binding. The paper is just off-white with dark gray printing, so it’s easy on the eyes.At the beginning is a table of contents, a “How to use this journal” section, and eight six-page sections addressing what they call weekly “foundations.” They are 1. Creating Holy Habits, 2. Being Open and Receptive, 3. Knowing Who God Is, 4. Embracing Who I Am, 5. Recognizing My Worth, 6. Being Spiritually Focused, 7. Expressing Faith, and 8. Making Restitution. Each section has some promptings for reflection. After those sections come the daily reflection pages, two pages per day for 85 days, addressing what’s weighing on your heart, reflecting on God’s perspective, what you can learn from it, affirmation, holy habits, gratitude, blessings, general reflection, and a scripture verse. At the end are 21 lined pages for general notes. The layout of the pages is clean and clear.I like that you can throw this in a backpack or a large purse, or just leave it at home to work on at the end of a long day. This journal is worth the price; you’ll get it back tenfold in spiritual benefits.

Well written; beautiful message; faith building
I wasnât expecting so much from this journal, but I was thinking it would be a nice thing as Iâm working to further my relationship with Christ. It is more thoughtful and well constructed than I expected and brings a lovely Spirit and great insight to my efforts. Not only is the book beautiful with a high quality cover and paper, the actual writing has so much heart to it. I feel like Iâm getting advice on this journey from a friend as Iâm reading. I havenât made it through the whole journal yet, but Iâm far enough in to confidently say this is a wonderful product. It would make a great gift for someone else or yourself. Very worthwhile.

Pretty Book with Thought-Provoking Questions
I gave the prayer journal to my nine-year-old. She thought the cover was a beautiful color. There is even a sewn-in ribbon to mark your place as you move through the book.The chapters are titled as foundations. The author provides a summary of the topic, quotes scripture, and provides questions for reflection. It has given my daughter a deeper understanding of her relationship with God.Some of the questions that stood out to her had her define God and what she believed about herself.It has been a great book for her. I’d recommend it for baptisms, Easter presents, or general use.
