UPDATE – September 9, 2015: I just received an email from Pure Enrichment Support informing me that the problem I have experienced with my PureSpa Deluxe is not typical to the product and that they are happy to send me a warranty replacement at no cost.Given such good service and the fact that I really do like this diffuser I am comfortable in giving the PureSpa Deluxe a solid FIVE Star rating, the rating I first gave it to begin with.To all: take the time to review this rating, it confirms Amazon’s excellent return service as well as Pure Enrichment’s dedication in supporting it’s product, both first class and to be trusted. Again, this is a solid performer and I hope you find this review helpful.UPDATE – September 7, 2015: Sorry to say, however, the same problem that occurred with my first PureSpa Deluxe is re-appearing.I use the diffuser each night when I go to bed. What has begun happening again is that when I turn it on it makes a whirring noise and does not mist properly. When I look inside while it’s running I can see that the ultrasonic unit is working. All I can think of is that the fan motor is malfunctioning. If I tap the unit on the dresser top it seems to stop the noise and the unit runs fine all night long with no problems. So far this issue has occurred four times out of the past five nights.Seeing how I am over the thirty day Amazon limit I will be sending PureSpa support an email. Based on what I see in the reviews that might not trigger a response. Either way I am dropping my review to two stars at this point and will try and keep my PureSpa Deluxe running. I really like it and would strongly recommend it to all, however, my experience with its reliability is leading me to re-think that.BTW – I have NOT received any discount or special consideration for providing this review. What’s up with that anyway.?.??UPDATE – July 27, 2015: My second PureSpa Deluxe arrived today and it’s up and misting. This really is a beautiful diffuser. I will keep an eye on it and once it reaches the 30 day mark I will adjust the star rating on my review. I sure would like to hear from PureSpa, if they happen to be checking, in regards to their 2yr warranty on items bought on Amazon.UPDATE – July 24, 2015: I have dropped from 5 stars to 3 stars because tonight my PureSpa bit the dust.When I turned it on it made a continuous strange whirring noise and would not put out any mist. I turned it off, emptied the container and wiped it clean. It really is easy to clean. I then refilled it and and turned it on and the same noise and no mist and this time it wouldn’t turn off, I had to unplug it.I promptly processed a return through Amazon and ordered another. I really like this diffuser. I’ve been using it every night and it does a fabulous job. Run time is in excess of eight hours with no problems, silent operation. This is a fabulous diffuser. This is my first impression review.Read the reviews; July 09, 2015 88% of 281 reviews are 5 STAR You can’t go wrongI am not new to essential oils but am new to diffusers. In my time the oils were topical or burned over a tea candle. Many folks still do that, six months ago I was one of them. For all the right reasons diffusers are the way to go. They help maintain and make available the essential part of those essential oils.I’ve gone through three diffusers and read reviews on countless more since I’ve discovered their value. To be truthful, most of what’s out there is pretty much the same, a light weight unit that cycles through an array of colors and shoots a mist out the top. You take a few bits off it to get to the inside that holds 100ml of water – more or less – and a few drops of essential oil. Then you put it all back together and press a button or two any number of times to control the lights and the mist.Three things stand out in my requirements for selecting an essential oil diffuser. Simplicity of operation and quality of design/build are the first two and the third is how well does it do what it’s supposed to, that is diffuse essential oils. The Purespa Deluxe does a wonderful job meeting all three requirements.First off it couldn’t be any simpler to operate. The 24v adapter cord plugs easily into the rear of the unit. To access the innards one all purpose lid is removed. No extra bits. The water chamber is generously sized and the max water level is boldly marked. The air intake port is located at the high point of the chamber rim and well designed to minimize any accidental water entry. The chamber is sized to hold 140ml of water and it is recommended to use 3-5 drops of oil. It’s been my experience that this is a solid working oil/water ratio for an 8hr run time, the Purespa is rated at 8-10 hrs. So far today I am well into that.With the water and oil in place the one piece lid is replaced. This is where the Purespa differs from other diffusers. Most all have a multi piece lid that needs to be reassembled each time replenishing is required. This is one is simply on or off and it really only goes on in one position and by design that’s the correct one. Those who have faced a puzzle of putting on a diffuser lid on will understand this benefit. All that’s left is to push the single button that controls it all, only the button is touch sensitive. One touch the unit is on and misting and the lights are off. Another touch and the lights come on with the mist. One more touch turns the whole unit off. Couldn’t be simpler.The design of this unit is first class. Pure white color, simple curved lines with the lid cut into the overall shape in a way that reflects its true purpose. The lid also glows with a changing array of colors when the lights are on. It is most pleasant and unobtrusive, even in a totally dark room. One nice feature is that the lid is angled slightly and allows the glow to be projected without glaring into the eyes. All in all sleek and well proportioned. The base unit sits quite stable on four rubberized feet and is sized well to be handled with the utmost of confidence. Some diffusers out there are simply not balanced well and awkward to handle. The Purspa Deluxe is NOT one of those.So does it do the job it’s supposed to. I can tell you unequivocally YES. I have the unit in a 16x18bedroom with a window open diffusing a mix of patchouli, myrrh and rosemary and the levels are wonderful. When I came up stairs I had the bedroom door open and the fragrance was quite noticeable on the stair way. Is there anything I would change? A bit of a stronger fan to shoot the mist a bit higher into the room maybe. A minor comment in that I have absolutely no idea of the design parameters needed to get one of these things to work. Regardless, the Purespa Deluxe does an excellent job at diffusing into a large room. My guess is it could handle larger space with help from a small fan or such.Bottom line this is a well made diffuser with a very good design and quite simple to operate. You really can’t go wrong.Pure Enrichment offers a 2 Year Warranty on the Purespa Deluxe, however, I was not able to register my product on their web site as explained in the user manual, not sure what’s up with that.I will update this review as I have more experience with it, but as of now I am most pleased with this purchase

Cheap Construction
The marketing literature on this device looks great, but it’s cheap, it leaks and leaves a mess everywhere. The lid does not fit on easily. It’s a total waste of money.

Works well. Just MAX water level sticker fell off.
