A NICE OVERVIEW
I liked this book because it is exactly what it says it is, a quick overview of the basics of “Bullet Journaling.” I have looked at other books on the subject and they have been repetitious, cutesy or just plain too long. Bailey’s short book gets right to the basics so you can be using them right away. You can pick and choose what features you use, customize and keep it simple or complicated. The author does a good job of encouraging you to make your journal your own, adapting it to your needs. All in all it was worth the read.

Bullet Journaling Made Easy
I’ve got several books & websites on B-Journaling but none made it clearer than this book. The author laid it out in a way that simplified what for me has been confusing, especially how to actually set up & start a bullet journal (or BuJo, as it’s called by some users). With other guides, I’d understand the concepts and the components, but then be so overwhelmed that I wasn’t able to get started. This book separated the basics from the set-up from the flourishes, & that made it easier to understand how to start.I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 because as I was reading I’d feel like I needed an example here or more detail there. And maybe a picture or a simple drawing. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep track, so I’d have to reread the book to find the specifics. If I figure any of those out, I’ll update this review with them. This is the best book I’ve run across to begin using a BuJo. I recommend it highly!

Good Beginner’s Guide
I found this book to be informative. All the information to start a basic bullet journal is here. Extra spreads can be found all over the internet (Pinterest comes to mind), but the bones of it are here. Happy journaling!

Since its a book for beginners, I thought there …
Since its a book for beginners, I thought there would have been some layouts or pictures in it. Its a tiny booklet..not really a book. There are other books out there that have more information and layout ideas.

Useful
This book is not very long – each section has actionable items. I recommend it if you’re just starting out or need a refresher.

Great book!
Appreciate the basic starter set to get NY feet wet. Especially as I tend to over complexity things. Just what I needed……
Emma Bennett –
Brief and straightforward description of bullet journals and how to use them.
Turo –
Easy to read and get an idea of the system, with some personal suggestions I liked (e.g. using symbols based on task category).

The book (or rather a Pamphlet) is written in big letters, only has a couple of pages and is very compact with little informational content. I have received longer text messages. That being said, if you want to browse through the universe of bullet journaling in 10 minutes this book is for you as it includes symbols, spreads and options. If you’d rather indulge in a more thorough book: ‘How to bullet plan’ by Rachel Wilkerson Miller would be my suggestion.
Nicky Tillyer –
A great intro to the concept and how Levi uses it with suggestions for adding your own customisations.Very loose guidelines. A recommended quick read if you don’t like getting bogged down in rules.

Easy and straight forward to understand. Not to bulky and a nice add on when giving a bullet journal as a gift
