First and foremost, Rasasi’s Daarej is a “clone” of Valentino V Pour Homme which was released back in 2006 and almost 10 years later it was discontinued. The original cologne retailed for around $150.Today, due to its lingering popularity and demand, there are some original bottles being sold on eBay for as high as $550.Now for the real question: How close to Valentino V is Rasasi’s version, Daarej?As someone who has owned both, the original and the clone, I can tell you that Daarej is 99% like the original by Valentino. This is a well crafted clone by a very strong and established perfume house.To those who are complaining about the staying power, I have no complaints about that, it does great for 10 hours. For me personally, it is a cologne that works great well in daytime or nighttime, and it has always garnered compliments.Can this be a UNISEX cologne? I don’t know, but what I can say is that there are a lot of women’s perfumes out there that are strong enough to smell like a man’s Cologne. Calvin Klein made $90 million ANNUALLY in the mid 90’s selling its CK One Unisex cologne. So it all depends on how things are marketed. Valentino’s V Perfume Pour Homme was marketed strictly for men.The one thing that I will add is this, perfumes smell very differently on people, and that is because of the personal PH and chemicals in our skins. For example, I own Coach for men, that smells very differently when I spray it on me rather than my clothes. I tend to spray it on my shirts, where it smells better than on my skin.NOTES: V pour Homme by Valentino is a Oriental Woody fragrance for men. The heart encompasses elegant cedar, sandalwood, ambergris and musk. The base contains jasmine, heliotrope, cocoa, patchouli, ambergris and vanilla. The perfume was created in 2006.

Really good everyday cologne
It’s a basic yet unique sent, reminds me a bit of Versace Dylan blue. Very good cheap fragrance and doesn’t smell cheap at all. If you’re looking for a reliable good every day fragrance this is it honestly better than Versace Pour homme. I could see this being like $100.

Smells Divine, But Disappears Faster Than a Mirage
Rasasi Daarej Pour Homme initially captivated me with its rich, warm, and inviting fragrance. The blend of cardamom, cumin, rose, and amber creates a truly enchanting aroma that’s both sophisticated and comforting. However, my enchantment quickly turned to disappointment when I realized how fleeting this fragrance is.Within 30 minutes of spraying, the scent becomes barely detectable on my skin. This means I have to constantly reapply throughout the day to maintain any semblance of the fragrance. I’ve received only one compliment on this cologne, likely because it fades away before I even have a chance to interact with people.Pros:* Absolutely gorgeous scent with a unique blend of spices, florals, and amber* Elegant and sophisticated, suitable for various occasions* The bottle design is attractive and feels luxuriousCons:* Extremely poor longevity – disappears within 30 minutes* Requires constant reapplication, leading to quick depletion of the bottle* Poor performance for an Eau de Parfum concentration* The price feels unjustified considering the poor performanceOverall:While Rasasi Daarej Pour Homme smells divine, its abysmal longevity makes it a frustrating and impractical choice. It’s a shame, as the scent itself is truly beautiful. However, the constant need for reapplication, coupled with the high price, makes it a poor value proposition.Recommendation:If you’re looking for a long-lasting fragrance that leaves a lasting impression, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. While Rasasi Daarej Pour Homme might be suitable for a quick, fleeting moment of pleasure, it’s not a fragrance you can rely on to accompany you throughout the day.

I like the smell of this perfume. It’s worth the price.
