Much better than soy and paraffin candles, and made in the USA
Like most people, I grew up using paraffin wax candles before decades later I was to find out that “paraffin” is more or less a fancy word for “petroleum by-product”.I jumped on the soy candle bandwagon. I love the scent throw of soy candles, and I love that they’re a lot less toxic than paraffin. But I can’t stand the slimy, gooey feeling of the so-called “wax”.This candle is a throwback to when candles were candles. The wick is nice and thick cotton which produces a beautiful flame, and the fragranceâproduced from essential oilsâisn’t just the synthetic, perfumey odor you get from soy candles, but has a hint of the “waxy” smell that I remember from candles from years and years ago.It’s also a throwback to when wax was wax, not a repurposed chemical spill. It’s made from 100% beeswax. The wax burns gradually and evenly. I don’t see any kind of black smoke or abnormal flickering coming from the candle, just a smooth and clean burning flame.I love that it’s made in the USA, which gives me further confidence that it’s safe and was produced by workers (and bees) in a safe and clean environment.I’ve tried a lot of candles lately of all kinds, but this one is at the top of candles you should buy.

AMERICAN MADE PRODUCT
Beeswax candles are a joy! Even though they are getting harder to find, they are worth the price. They offer increased burn time and burn brighter & cleaner than soy or paraffin. The Ruth & Rose candle is simple and understated, arriving in a tasteful black covered metal canister. Although it lacked a wide throw, the Fraser Fir fragrance was warm and woodsy, the perfect companion for a glass of wine and a good book. After extinguishing the candle, there is a noticeable after-scent that lingers in the air.Previously, I reviewed the Ruth and Rose Fraser Fir candle, which I really liked. The Enchanted Forest scent from the same line of candles is, unfortunately, a disappointment. It was supposed to smell like blue spruce, but I don’t detect any woodsy, pine forest aroma when burning.Update:

Amazing scent
This candle has a scent that is masculine, but not overly so. Very clean smell, maybe a little outdoorsy. I am now realizing I have never reviewed a candle before and it is kind of difficult to find the right descriptors. The candle has burned for quite a while and still has plenty of life. I had to cut the wick before using it because it was crazy long. Overall I can easily recommend this for just about any type of setting.

Donât let this small candle fool you!!! Using a 10% fragrance load it brings a stout but lovely scent to any sized room!!! Made from 100% beeswax this is a clean burning candle that you can enjoy with peace of mind. I enjoy the green color of the candle which is fitting to its woodsy aroma. You wonât be disappointed!!!!
