START YOUR DAY WITH PURPOSE
This category-busting morning journal is founded upon one philosophy: how you start your day largely determines how successful your day will be—and your level of happiness as you move through it.
BOOST HAPPINESS & PRODUCTIVITY
With only a few minutes each morning, you can dramatically improve your overall well-being while getting more of the important stuff done.
THE TRIFECTA OF JOURNALING
Daily Manifesto: Guided journal questions.Mind Clutter: Getting the junk out of your head.Weekly Review: Ensure your actions align with your top priorities. MINIMUM INPUT. MAXIMUM REWARD.
While the concept of journaling seems simple enough, it proves incredibly difficult to consistently employ. That’s why the Sunrise Manifesto was designed with a minimalist approach.

Best undated planner!
This is a pretty solid undated planner! I appreciate the questions in the daily manifesto as I believe itâs an important way to begin your day but I also love that it has the mind clutter page. This is where I scribble my other to doâs or questions for the day. It provides ample writing space unlike most other planners that limit your note taking space to small boxes. The planner also has a weekly planning page where you can brainstorm your larger weekly todo list, consider who you need to contact to get those things done, and a space where you write out the next steps of larger projects. This planner is structured but not too structured. Honestly, this is the best planner Iâve ever had. The only way to find something better would be to just make my own.My only suggestions would be to divide the daily manifesto and weekly planning pages. At the moment, youâll encounter a weekly planning page after 7 daily manifesto pages. Honestly, sometimes my life is so hectic I donât get to my planner 7 days a week. This makes me feel a little wasteful when I have to skip those pages. To solve this, you could simply have a section of daily manifestos and a section for weekly planning. This would give users more flexibility.

Great help for bringing EMOTIONAL FOCUS to your day with A BIT OF PRODUCTIVITY
I bought this and the Morning Sidekick journal for myself and my spouse, after reading through so, so, SO many listings for daily journals. I was looking for something that would help organize my thoughts in a productive way while also providing a bit of help tracking an emotional element (gratitude, intention, best moments, etc.). I’ve also tried bullet journaling using a variety of styles, being most satisfied with something like the Panda layout mixed with a Ben Franklin type habit tracker and a weekly check-in agenda. In all these trials, I found that THIS is the journal style I found most valuable when I was in a place where I wanted to make sure I was treating myself with kindness, and another time when I was dealing with a lot of stress and had a hard time remembering good moments in a given day, week or month. The emphasis here is heavily on gratitude and meaning in your day, but makes a good effort to include room for some general planning to improve your productivity… less about efficiency and more about staying on top of your intended goals.I found the inclusion of Project Tracking and Weekly Check-Ins, along with a daily “top tasks” question, to be very valuable; these sections are great if you do a New Year’s review/resolution thing, and if you can break those into goals with action steps, this journal helps you fill them in as “projects” that you can track by month or week and see how bigger plans can be tackled with a daily or weekly focus. This is something lacking in the Morning Kickstart, which, in contrast, helps you focus your active day with a little bit of gratitude check-in thrown in.I have to point out Mind Clutter. Mind clutter! The brain dump! It’s crazy to think we don’t just do this for ourselves on blank paper, but we *don’t*. Having the one page every day to throw down all the stuff swirling in my head at the end of a day (I’ll say it, I used this as more of a Sunset Manifesto) was the biggest benefit I got from this book. I slept better, I focused more on my family in the evenings… I was able to bookmark my thoughts this way, and keep from being distracted by them at the wrong hour.I recommend this journal if what you want more of is MEANING AND INTENTION – maybe even just some centered personal time that feels a bit more fruitful than meditation if it’s not your bag or doesn’t always work. This is a good journal for a cluttered mind, or an unhappy mind, or someone looking for balance that overdoes it on the practical side at the expense of their feelings. It’s also a very lovely hardbound book, and can be a very nice gift.

Nice Journal
Although I don’t use it daily, I can organize my thoughts and plans. Very well laid out and easy to use.I look back to review my thoughts to track my progress and be thankful for those who mean most to me.

Beautiful journal but, weird detail
I bought this as a gift – it is a beautiful journal and the daily prompts are great. BUT – both I and and the recipient of the gift were surprised to find that it only has 240 pages. With the premise of a journal being a daily activity, I find it odd that it doesn’t have 365 days in it. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to have to buy one to resume on the 241st day of the year.

Very good guided daily journal, though maybe a little pricey
I don’t use this guided journal every day, but whenever I do, I always find it refreshing and insightful. I have given these as gifts to others. It’s great to sit in a coffee shop with a cup of of joe and reflect back on the past day – three things to be thankful for, something that made me smile, something that would have made the day even better, a few intentions for this new day, and then a short free-form section to just do a mind-dump of whatever is circulating around in there! It’s better than therapy, in my view. Life is best when lived intentionally like this. Whether you are a veteran journaler, as I am, or a newbie, I think you will find this one helpful in clarifying your thoughts and lifting your mood.It is sturdy and well made. I just wish it was a little less expensive.

Excellent Mindful Gratitude Accountability Resource
This is a simple yet scientifically based gratitude journal that holds a person accountable by only investing 10 minutes per day: to obtain a generous harvest return of a life well-balanced and lived well due to the daily practice of Gratitude!!!I purchased one for each of my leaders, to share as a resource; for their teams to consider as a worthwhile resiliency lifestyle resource. The author of this journal also sells body building nutrition and health supplements so that a person can mindfully balance their Mind, Spirit, and Body.
