The wax color is not pure
The wax color of the candle is not pure, a little gray, and the smoke produced when burning is also gray, it looks unhealthy, and I can’t imagine what the effect of breathing these fumes on the body is really bad.

This is a very difficult quality to accept.
Opening a new candle with great anticipation, only to be disappointed when it is lit. It burns not evenly at all, some places the wax liquid has flowed, some places are also hard, this quality is difficult to accept.

Good Candles, But the Scents Blend Together
This is a nice candle set, especially if you like warm, woodsy scents that arenât too overpowering. The packaging is sleek, the jars are sturdy, and the soy wax burns cleanly and evenly, which I appreciate. No weird tunneling or excessive soot. The burn time is decent for the size, tooânot gone in a night like some small candles.That said, while the scents are pleasant, they donât quite match their descriptions. The tobacco, leather, and oak notes donât stand out as much as I expected, and a lot of the candles have a similar, slightly sweet undertone that makes them blend together. If you’re hoping for a true, distinct smoky leather or rich mahogany scent, you might be a little disappointed. Still, they create a nice atmosphere without being too strong or artificial.Overall, this set is a solid option, especially as a gift, but don’t expect each candle to have a completely unique scent. They’re more of a general âcozy, slightly masculineâ vibe rather than clearly defined individual fragrances.

They’re not lying. Just as advertised.
I’ve only used one so far, it’s been lit for maybe 6+ hours and it’s not even halfway done yet. Idk how long candles normally last but i’m happy with this ones lifespan.As far as the smell, wow. I smelled each of them out of the box and i like them all. And lit, it fills up my 580 sqft apartment with the most pleasent smell.My only issue is that the last time i left it lit the wick sagged down into the melted wax causing it to die out. If i had left it i would have had to dig the wick out of the wax. In other words, the wick has no rigidity. That shouldn’t really be an issue though, if anything, a negligible one.If you’re on the fence, hop off and land on the buyers side. They’re for sure worth the money.

Nice Presentation but Meh Candles
Where this product excels is in its presentation as a nice gift, but I was not at all impressed when actually burning the candles.I normally use Bed Bath and Beyond 3-wick candles because I have a large open floor plan in my main living area that requires a robust candle. But for my low ceiling, poor ventilation basement space, the 3-wick candles are overkill so I decided to give the small 1-wick candles a shot. There are side by side pics next to the BBW 3-wick candles for size comparison.The presentation of the packaging is excellent for a gift, though after seeing all of the writing about how premium they are and how they almost look like some kind of organic small town USA homegrown from midwest bees kinda product, the glaring “made in China” sticker may be off-putting to some who want it to look like a more premium gift.It becomes readily apparent upon burning, however, that these are not premium candles. The unlit fragrances themselves are rather generic to me and smell more like bath soaps than candles, though one of them smells almost exactly like a funeral home, which is not a smell I would ever want to permeate the air around me. This doesn’t matter when burning them, however, because they just smell like a burning wick with a hint of generic wax. Ever bought a scented candle from a dollar store? That is what these remind me of. I will not be burning these again, as they are just very unpleasant to someone used to the significantly better Bath and Body Works offerings.The worst part is the price. Despite a wonderful presentation, the quality of the candles themselves is simply not worth the almost $30 price tag on these. You are much better off grabbing a couple of 3-wick Bath and Body Works candles when they have a buy-1-get-1-free sale and dropping them into a nice gift bag or box for someone. This product would only serve as a decent gift if they knocked the price down to half of what they’re asking and if it’s for someone who doesn’t already have and appreciate better quality candles than these.
