Interesting and helpful
This is an informative journal and offers a lot of useful insights and guidance especially for people looking for self-reflection and anyone who wants to learn more about shadow work. The print is easy to read with fun, colorful illustrations. The paper is heavy weight and non-glossy. The paper responds well to erasable gel ink. I used to enjoy journaling when I was younger and I really like the style and approach of this journal. Iâm just not quite sure that journaling is my thing nowadays. Someone who is more interested in journaling would probably be really into this journal.

Nice design and format
To be honest- I can’t speak on if this method works because I just can’t focus enough to bring myself to do the daily entries and work on myself. The book itself is nicely designed without being too distracting when trying to do the entries. The spiral binding ensures that it lays flat and the pages will stay in the book.I feel like this would be a nice book for someone who can be more focused and that it is no fault of the book/method, but mine.

Working Through Some Issues
I got this journal to work on some of my mental issues. I like that it was designed by a therapist and that is has lots of prompted pages for me to fill in. I have learned some things about myself and am still working through the book. It isn’t exactly what I was looking for, but it is helping me. I like it.

Even though it’s a bit of a journal, it’s not light on advice
This review is for: Self Love Journal, Fierce Self Love through Shadow Work and Radical Acceptance – Spiral BoundWhile this is a journal, it isn’t light on information and advice. I really like how much information is in it. Sometimes I get self-help journals, and I feel like I’m more or less on my own. That is not the case with this one. There is plenty of information and advice to guide you into your journalingI liked it so much I got another one for my best friend. These would make great gifts for any of your girlfriends or relatives.

Meh
I was not a fan of this journal. For me, it was a bit woo woo and cheesy. I also didn’t like the style of artwork. I’m sure others will love the exercises and find good use for it. Me, not so much. I’ll be gifting it to someone much younger who is into the whole “shadow” self stuff. The journal itself appears well made, it’s the contents that knocked it down a couple stars for me.
